Stations integrated into the Bee Network will see new investment in infrastructure (ensuring step free access), better signage and wayfinding (branded with Bee Network yellow), upgraded information screens and enhanced CCTV.
It’ll also mean the Bee Network app and website will have info on those trains. You’ll also be able to tap in and out at these stations.
Eventually, all stations in GM will be part of the Bee Network, and the trains will have their own Bee Network livery. It would be the start for a proper S-Bahn or London Overground style service.
First wave of stations will join in December 2026 (article has typo and says December 2027). Second wave in March 2027 (they had to delay some of them). Third wave in December 2027. Fourth wave in December 2028. Final wave by December 2030.

All going up in prep for next week, but what is the point of putting them everywhere?
It's all the same stuff, overpriced hotdogs and rough warm wine or rip off pick and mix.
They'd be better in one defined area than spread out everywhere and in the way of access to shops

This is Harrold, he's a house cat that got out. If you're in this area please check your garden and let us know if you see him. He's friendly but skittish. Black/grey with green eyes. He would get stuck easily unfortunately.
Thank you for any help it's appreciated 👍.

I swear those humps on the M62 between Warrington and Manchester are getting worse.
I hit one yesterday in the 3rd lane and came out of my seat. It seems crazy they haven't done anything about them for this long, they're quite dangerous, I'd imagine at least a few people have blown tyres out hitting them at speed.

Dark and stormy skies on the left. Bright blue skies on the right, complete with a rainbow. Pretty cool 😁

I want to take my bf somewhere to watch the match and have some nice beers (bonus points if they have sours). I know United are doing abysmal rn but hoping they’ll win on Saturday because he’s having a rough week and I wanna do something nice for him.
Thanks!!

Hey friends,
My husband and I are going to be in Manchester on bonfire night. I'm English but he's American and this will be his first bonfire night in the UK. Do you have any recommendations for somewhere that does a fire and fireworks, maybe a jacket potato stand? 👀
We're staying near the arena but happy to travel for the evening. Would prefer somewhere that won't be too overcrowded if poss.
Thank you!

Hi!
In two weeks time I'm coming to Manchester for a wedding. Due to flights I'm coming a few days before my other friends, and I'm planning on spending time writing and reading. I don't want to be cooped up in my hotel all the time of course, so I'm looking for recommendations of where to grab a pint or two for a solo woman of 28.
I've been to Manchester before but it was many years ago now (maybe 5+) and I mostly only went clubbing in the gay village. Now I'm looking for something a bit more lowkey.
Thanks in advance.

I’m taking part in this https://hard-as-nails.com and want to go to a men friendly place. I’ve never had my nails done before and I’m quite anxious about it so any recommendations would be appreciated!

Hi guys,
I have to pick up my Mother from T3 later tonight at the airport.
The flight lands at 21:40, so I was going to arrive at 21:30 to make sure I am there for her arrival.
However, having just checked the airport website, I am unable to stay longer than 15 mins which means I would have to leave by 21:45. I don't think this will be long enough for her to get out of the airport in time, but if I arrive at 21:45 and she gets out slightly early, I don't want to leave her waiting due to her being very tired from working and suffering from mild agoraphobia.
I don't know how long it will take for her to get from the plane to the pick up point. So if I arrive at 21:40, when the flight is scheduled to land, I am unsure if 21:55 will be long enough. I also can't really afford to pay £15 to stay in a short stay car park for an hour.
Anyone have any suggestions or help with timings for the 15 mins at the express pick up?

I was celebrating a milestone birthday there on Saturday and - given that it was everything I wanted from a celebration - would love to recreate the night as a Spotify playlist!
If you were there and remember any particular songs that were playing, please could you drop them in the comments? A hefty combination of birthday excitement and blue raspberry vodkas has left me with patches in the old memory bank 😆

On Saturday there were lots of police cars near Park View, even there were 2 police men were standing inside the accommodation too. Does anyone know about that?

Does anyone know of any black/brown mothers groups? I’m not interested in a mental health group or support for struggling moms, I’m just looking for something where black/brown moms can hang out together with their babies or children. There are walking mums groups, but in my experience when I went, they’ve had 0 diversity at all and I’m looking for a space to connect with other black/brown moms. I haven’t found anything on google that’s just for people to socialize.

I have family visiting Manchester and would like to invest in a property in southern Manchester. Would it be possible to schedule viewings between the 25th and the 3rd of Jan? I know a lot of agencies are closed during these dates but I was wondering whether specific real estate agents or offices are known to be open.
