Also, when do you guys get your salary normally?

We already have an unschooled population. We are speed-running towards ignorance. Even now, the education system doesn't even properly teach STEM with many students only learning soft subjects that don't develop the brain.
According to the Statistics bureau the number is close to 10,000. This is a crisis we have to fix, rather than sacrificing the children to make extremists sleep well at night. If we are to introduce home-schooling, are we just enabling these parents who are already depriving their children?

Page 7, under "Children currently not studying"
The politicians that are supporting this, already know about these thousands of children, but they're evil enough to do this even knowing the ramifications of catering to a loud and angry minority.

Why some people in the Maldives do sihr when they see married couples living happily together, raising their children well, and building a peaceful family life? Why would anyone want to destroy another person's happiness and break a family apart?

I don't get it. Birds ( specially non native bird keeping ) supports the smuggling trade. Its a cruel practice. I hate walking by 'bird shops" with cages and cages of birds looking lifeless. Parrots are not pets. The macaw used to sell and flex for money should be flying freely in the Caribbean and south America not tied to your balcony. I understand rescuing or keeping a native species to some extent. Like a crow or a pigeon. But idk how you can ever claim to care about animals and do this.

What is on your mind regarding this?

As beautiful as our country is the people are absolutely horrid.
- okay with child marriage (they will defend it saying when a girl mensturates they are already women)
- xenophobic
- racist
- rampant religious extremism
- capitalist
- rapist sympathizing
- victim blaming
- will talk shit about a person that commits or attempts suicide
- paedophilic
- bootlickers
- greedy

It's very disappointing when you are paying a lot for their food and supporting their business. I'm talking about very well known bakers whose food have gotten considerably worse through the years. I understand that ingredients have become very expensive but I also feel the prices they charge do reflect the change in price.

Bored one day and wanted to watch something useless without commitment to pass time. Watched this shit and it traumatized me.
Do not watch this. If u like happy endings or good things happening the first time this series is recommended to u in netflix throw ur phone at the wall
This shit is pure psychological warfare

Is Swiftech store trustworthy? They don't have a walk in store so I'm a bit skeptical and can't find any review either

I just saw it today, not sure how long it's been there. I think ot wasn't there last week. Is this something actually useful or just another one of our Dr. Dr. Raees's vanity project?

Hi everyone! I'm a woman hoping to relocate to the Maldives and would love some advice from people who live or have worked there. I have over 8 years of experience in administration and office management, and I speak three languages. I'm open to opportunities in resorts or hotels, including roles outside my current field.
Does anyone know of resorts hiring international candidates, or have any recommendations or contacts? Ideally, I'm looking for an employer that offers staff accommodation and assistance with work permits.
I'd really appreciate any leads or advice. Thank you! π
Oh wow this is my first post on reddit π

My package got from Germany to the Maldives in 2 days, but DHL Maldives still canβt deliver it after 3 days? I paid extra for express delivery, only for the girl on the phone to tell me to pick it up myself. π
BRO, WHAT DID I PAY EXPRESS SHIPPING FOR??? π
Anyone else dealing with this nonsense? I'm so pissed that I want to complain! Ugh
*Edit: The package finally arrived! π After multiple calls to the branch. Express delivery, where? ππ€ͺ

Yesterday I was going through Instagram and saw all these travel agencies and people on vacation. Since I am jobless and going through a rough patch I just went to the business registry and registered a business. But it just hit me I have no investment, no savings nothing and I know nothing about travel or tourism. I have had an online business on Instagram and it didn't last any longer than a few months.
Since I am jobless right now. I am desperate to do something.

I would like to ask for some advice. A friend of mine is currently working in the Maldives. He has already submitted his resignation, but he still has some unused leave days. His employer hasn't granted these leave days, claiming that they are short-staffed. If they refuse to grant the leave, is the company required to provide compensation for those days? And if they don't pay, where can he file a complaint?
