Apple Mac Mini Page

I couldn’t help but notice that when you go the Mac Mini page on Apple’s site, there’s a brief animation that plays, and the last i in mini briefly becomes a pirate flag, which I thought was amusing considering all of the recompiling going on right now :)

I think it a reference to Apple's Jolly Roger flag

This, honestly a really cool part of the company’s history

And also it’s not new or a reference to current events, it’s been on that animation on the Mac mini page since the m4 release.

It’s a reference to this: https://www.folklore.org/Pirate_Flag.html

“It’s better to be a pirate, than join the navy.”

That’s exactly the kind of cheeky Easter egg I’d expect from Apple designers, tbh
