Discussion Which character had your favorite character development? Spoiler

For me, it’s Sawyer. His character development throughout the show is incredible.

What about you?

Always liked Jin's development. He seemed like such a one-dimensional abusive husband, stereotypical hardass Asian type. But they gave him so much depth and made him such a likeable tragic hero by the end of the show.

Man I hated Jin in season 1 but was absolutely bawling my eyes out at his fake death in season 4

He started as an asshole and ended as a sweetheart. Even moreso than Sawyer imo who still maintained some of his edge.

Jin completely transformed back into who he was before he got involved with Sun's dad.

Sawyer. Most disappointing? Sayid

I was so disappointed in the writers when they did Sayid so dirty.

John Locke. My favorite character

I’m bot sure we seen him develop as much as reveal and spin around in confusion. His end was very sad.

A great character and story.

Season 5 was my favorite Sawyer, because he was finally happy with Juliette.

S5 may not be the best season, but it is my favorite.

The thing is that lost already has so many characters to choose from, and from those characters so many had great development. Its hard to choose 1. I seriously cant choose.

Jack's change is one of the best in all tv. It's just underrated csuse it's not in-your-face as Sawyer nd people hate him for sme reason

Sawyer, Juliet, and Jin for sure for me

Definitely Sawyer for me too. I love when Hurley tricks him into being decent ("the lamest con in the history o' cons") and he starts to step up more as a leader.

Sawyer. One of the great stories in one of the great shows.

Lots of other character have great arcs but Sawyers is one of the most built out, believable and satisfactory of all.

Sawyer is honestly one of my favourite characters in all of television.

Sawyer is definitely my favorite. I absolutely hated him at first. But what a ride!

Jack and Kate both have a beautiful arc.

The island.

Sawyer and Kate for sure. Sun had great development in early seasons but was ignored in the last couple. Charlie’s arc is one of my favourites and I loved that he ends as the hero he always dreamt of being.

It’s got to be Jack. A complete 180 from start to finish.

The correct answer is always Sawyer indeed. Then I'd nominate Ben

Sawyer yeah. I wouldn't necessarily have said so until S5/6. But man, the 70s made him . Otherwise I'd pick Ben. His entire journey is fascinating and a rollercoaster to watch.

Like you're intrigued by him, then hate him, then you feel bad for him, then you hate him AND feel bad for him, then love him, then remember you're supposed to hate him, then love him some more and then casual murdering happens and it's like "Babe. Again with the casual homicide!? We spoke about this... no cookie for you."

They're tied for me I think, for entirely different reasons.

Jack will always be my favorite character but sayids development was the most interesting to me, I hated him at times, loved him at times, his story was like a what if a villain got a fresh start and became a hero.
