I started longboarding about six months ago and am loving it. But all the leaves have me worried. Hiding rocks or uneven pavement that's gonna send me flying.

One of the trails I ride has dropped enough that it’s no longer rideable now, sadly. Another I ride will be shortly.
Interestingly enough, today the issue was the pine needles were too slippery for me to get a strong push!

What are you riding and wheel size? Part of upgrading to karmas (92mm) and Hoku’s (102mm) was safety there

69mm 78a cloud ride cruisers on a DB board. I know they should be able to handle rough terrain but I've been thrown by a couple pebbles. Still nursing a high ankle sprain from 4 weeks ago.

Honestly, with starting boarding more frequently as of this year. Makes me wanna buy a shop mop and keep in my car for when I find good lots with hella rocks. I have some pretty fat wheels to overcome most rocks. But here and there cruising slow speeds I hit one and get that deadly errrr from a rock ☠️
