Discussion Unexpected Costs at Queen Mary
So I had a friend in town and made us a reservation at the Promenade Café on the Queen Mary. We arrived and were charged TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS for parking. Then at the entrance they asked to see our reservation email and proceeded to charge us another THIRTY DOLLARS for vouchers which they said we could use for drinks.
Then we had the pleasure of paying for the meals- the only part we had signed up for.
Are they for real? Is this a regular thing?
How can anyone possibly afford to visit?
More importantly, how can they not disclose these costs in advance? Must be why the café was basically empty at the dinner hour.
I will never go back.
