Hey there, 22/f, I have never made a reddit post, so this is me swallowing my pride for the sake of finding community… so please be nice, hopefully I am doing this right…
I’ve been in London for 5 years now and have had a rough time making friends. I live in my mothers home with my 25/f fiancée and feel like no one my age is looking for community or a village anymore, I’m currently not working, or in school, just trying to find myself.
I don’t like to drink or party (though I’m a smoker..) so it makes it quite difficult.
How do you find people that align with you? How do you find real people who are authentic, kind, and accepting ?
I’m sure this is an issue for lots of people in any city, hoping to find some hope and kindness, or suggestions. Facebook can be brutal… especially neighbourhood groups, maybe I am too naive.

I have heard horror stories on here about certain places (Drewlo for example). I have a credit score of 807 and am employed and have a reference from my current landlord as well. Planning a 40th birthday party and looking to hire a live band. Ideally, we’re looking for a band with a really well-rounded music catalogue that can play a bit of everything and keep a mixed crowd entertained and on the dance floor.

Think classic rock, 60s/70s/80s hits, 90s and 2000s throwbacks, some country, pop, and other crowd-pleasers!

Would love to hear recommendations from anyone who’s hired a band for a private event or seen a local band they’d highly recommend. Bonus points if they have videos of live performances!

Does anyone know the kitchen cabinet colour/stain used by Prosperity Homes?

I’ve read plenty of the negative reviews about Prosperity Homes as a builder, but I do currently live in one of their homes. We’ve been trying to contact them for a while to find out the exact colour/stain and type of kitchen cabinets used in our build, but unfortunately, we haven’t received a response.

We’re in the middle of renovations and need this information to make sure the new work matches the existing cabinets.

I’ve attached a picture for reference. Does anyone recognize this dark wood stain or know the cabinet style/type? Prosperity Homes is still using this same look in their builds today, so I’m hoping someone here might know the exact name or have had better luck getting this information from them.
