Disasembly tools question
I am looking for a set or individual tools for gutting locks. There are some discussions around mokis huk set but I saw the gut wrench on sparrows. So my question is - should I go for the huk or get the wrench with tweezers, mini mat and followers?

I mean I'd do Sparrow in the US or the Huk set if I'm in Europe.
It's not gonna make a difference.

Just a heads up, if you’re in the EU you should be shopping on sparrowslockpicks.ca rather than the .com website, which is just for the US; the .ca site is for everywhere else.

The Sparrows stuff is good. I really don't use the clip tool though. Usually a screwdriver or cheap set of hooks from Harbor freight work well. I use my reaper picks to remove clips from padlock cylinders..
You can get inexpensive pinning mats and followers here too. I really like the 6×8. All kinds of other gutting tools too.
44 Delta sells followers and pinning trays.
Galaxylocc & CMXFA have some options.
Lots of other vendors out there too,. but Locksmith Keyless doesn't charge crazy shipping for their larger mats.

I was going to order a cheap large pinning mat from UHS about two years ago and they wanted $40+ just to ship a $10 mat. Locksmith Keyless just charged the standard shipping, and their stuff comes fast. I also just got a small .003" pin kit from locksmith keyless that was $50 less than the same kit with UHS. UHS has crap customer service too, so I'll only order lower value items from them IF my other preferred vendors don't have something I want.
CLK Locksmith Keyless MrLock MBA are my favorite smith supply houses, for pins, new locks, tools, etc.....
I have the small Sparrows mats you linked and they are nice and very convenient. The aluminum followers they sell are nice too.
The "EZ Loader" that CI sells is my favorite for that size. It makes it super easy... I file V-grooves in my smaller followers to help line up pins and springs. Once you get a handle on gutting you'll know what I mean.
If/when I order from UHS again I might order that HUK set,.. but I don't have enough profile cylinders to justify buying it by itself.... Oh, the plug holder that comes in that's set,.. you can get those 3D printed from 44D or a print farm in 2 sizes. If I bought the set it would mostly be for the pinning shoe,.. but for now I use the front end loaders 44D sells...
yap yap yap.... time for more coffee....
Look, a squirrel!

Get yourself a set of c clip pliers. They work much better than the single size tools.
A half inch wooden dowel and cut it to length for followers. Cut in notches as necessary for particular locks and a recess in the end to make pinning easier. A piece of 2L soda bottle covers all odd sizes.
A half yard of wide wale courderoy fabric will give you the largest anti bounce pinning mat you could want. Get a non yellow/grey color so pins and springs pop. You can mark out areas with a paint pen or sharpie if you want.
