Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [PF1e] [LGBTQ+] [PST] Looking for 4-5 players for an adventure and lore-heavy game
Hey! I'm Audrey, 21, She/They, as a disclaimer I love being elaborate when it comes to my RPGs and this post fits this trend. Another disclaimer is I'm attempting to get back into RPGs after a little less than a year break.
This game will take place every Friday at 11am PST. It will be Pathfinder 1st Edition, no previous rpg or pathfinder experience needed.
My experience:
I've been playing TTRPGs for over 8 years now, almost exclusively running them. I could very likely count the number of sessions I've been a player in on both hands. I'm not complaining though, I love GMing and I love storytelling.
I've played around with a lot of systems, from things like Mork Borg to Call of Cthulhu to Cyberpunk Red and the slightest bit of GURPS. As much as I love the narrative aspect of RPGs, I still heavily enjoy the actual game component. I've found a home in PF1e over the past couple of years mainly because the granularity of it.
I am massively into writing, worldbuilding, and game design. I am even working on my own system with a public playtest out right now. I have publishing software I use to create in-game handouts and lore documents and such. I give these out fairly often either as digital props or setting guides. My goal is to never give homework, but I find the players who read them are also the players who enjoy my games more.
About Me:
I'm Audrey, 21, She/They, west-coast based, trans, queer, and a number of other descriptive labels, but fuck all that. I'm into baseball, lacrosse/hockey, literature, hip hop, jazz, coffee, and other things I hope that I can't think of off the top of my head.
I am also genuinely a little too silly and devilish at times, so forgive me for that, and know I am truly never trying to be an asshole.
About the setting:
The game will be set within Idor, a land made for adventure. I have probably 100+ lore documents and descriptions written about the continent that I've been running in for 5 years. Too much to fit here, but it has a lot of the standard fantasy settings just with some added depth or twists.
There's a lot of typical fantasy fare, but Orcs can theoretically live forever and the further north you go the less reality starts to matter.
About the game:
Basic themes of the campaign include Powerlessness and Beauty. I'm big on juxtaposition. It will be a travel-heavy game with an emphasis on wandering and exploration. Working title is "Let the Sun Talk". Happy to give more details when we talk.
A modified E6 ruleset will be used along with Elephant in the Room for feat taxes.
What I’d hope from you:
- You are at least 18
- You have a general interest in lore and understanding more
- You are invested in the game, but still treat it like a game
- You have an adventurer’s spirit
- You are a kind, welcoming person
If you like what you’ve read and want to reach out, please send me a chat here. I’d like to talk for a minute then maybe move into a voice call when we’re both free!
