Help needed LoD Bounding

Not trying to make a costume, just a theme, like how people Disneybound at the theme parks. What are some things I can add to this base so that it reads “Dart”? I was thinking maybe cropping a red sweater (sort of how his red armor rides high on his waist) and maybe cutting the arms off it? Should be comfortable and casual enough for a long dnd session and bar hopping. Also I know the red headband is iconic but would a thin red headband read the same?

Dart has a black shirt under his red armor, it sorta has a v neck to it so you could go with something like this if you were still going to cut off 1 sleeve.

I sort of did a 1.5x belt thing lol. Does it not read his belt situation at all? I like the v neck idea. I was thinking both sleeves but that might not read well since he does have his left arm fully armored

Go to the thrift store and find something red with shoulder pads. A cats eye necklace could help as well.

No but does it have to be his non dragoon form? Cause you could make a bracelet out of his dragoon headband with inlayed opals and wear it around your wrist or something like that. Can't think of much else you can do that's not just full on cosplay.

Full broad sword, subtly. Screaming “volcano!” Subtly. Challenging god’s will, subtly. Bracelet isn’t a bad idea, on just the left arm it could read as his vambrace

Dart's main schtick is that he's wearing armor on two thirds of his top, so it would be a little difficult to make something that kinda looks like that without looking like a cosplayer. You don't see anyone running around with a coat that has one sleeve cut off.

I disagree! I feel like there could be an 80's vibe you could go for with a shirt that is cut diagonally with one sleeve and the other sleeveless, almost like an exercise look. Wear a black undershirt with that.

I agree that a big part of Dart's look is that his sword arm is armored but his left hand is not, which feels backwards in terms of utility but w/e

Don't know if you are good at tailoring, but a baggy sleeved sweater with one sleeve cut off would get you in the ballpark.

I think a thin headband would look great, to me Dart's undershirt kind of looks like a turtleneck which might not go well with the cropped sweater idea, so maybe try a thin black scarf? And more belts lol /j

I think red jewelry on the right hand would be super subtle. Not sure how subtle bound needs to be
