This joke in English goes like this.

- Dad name is meenie. Son name is miny. So the mom name should be moe right?

- Not a chance!

The difference is that น้ำเต้า ปู ปลา is type of gambling game. Not some catch phase.

น้ำเต้าปูปลา [nám-tâw puu plaa] is the popular Thai dice gambling game. Its symbols include น้ำเต้า “gourd,” ปู “crab,” and ปลา “fish.” ปู and ปลา are also very common Thai nicknames.
