Kurdish Kurdish student in Rojava says she will not return to school in protest against the government's decision to limit Kurdish-language education to 3 hours a week. "We laughed, played and cried & we joined school using our mother tongue. How did they change it [Kurdish] to a foreign language overnight"

would it be possible for kurdish/pro kurdish teachers to just ignore the rulings and teach courses in kurdish, both as a protest and as a goal ? I feel like if the government actually tries to force them to do the classes in arabic the backlash would be much more important than now ?

You can but then they’ll remind you of what the relationship with them is: oppression.

Also this is thanks to PKK’s and Xapo’s ideology. They wanted “biratiye gelan” and got it too.

Honestly no one cares about your opinions. People who don't live in Kurdistan should not get to criticize us. Especially bots like you. Come to Rojava, live here for 3 months, then I will listen to your rexne.

They have to push back, it should be the other way around. Maybe 1/2- 1 hour per week arabic language.

Otherwise they should promote private schools only in kurdish. With donations from parents, kurds diaspora and parties.

The regular schools will be abandoned and the jolani fundings will stop! They should think 3-6-9 steps ahead! Not wait for arabic/islamic rules.

If they lose the language they will lose everything! Just like bakur kurdistan.
