Fire DC and let Ben Simmons coach the team. Ben Simmons is clearly our best player.

I went to Vegas for like 12 hours last month to qualify for the Southwest Companion pass. I got pretty drunk but I woke up with a bet slip:

Sacramento Kings to make the 2027 playoffs.
+2000.

I bet $100.

I don’t remember making this bet, but if I drunkenly did, that means I know in my heart we will make it.

Light that MF

Just let our boy shoot the ball and stop yapping. Did you even watch Sabonis directing him on screens? He IS learning. Shoot shoot shoot pass shoot shoot pass. I love it.

Kinda low effort post I know. But I'm not from Sac and I'm drinking and I want to enjoy the experiment. Buying an Acuff jersey this week by the way

Light the joint, light the beam

Hmm. Seems like it's time to dust it off.

Photo taken tonight!

This is what other people see when I tell them I’m a Kings fan. But idgaf still in it every season 😎

Cmon man against the clippers of all teams

Every year this team somehow traps me into the completely irrational excitement of what could be.
And here I am doing it again.

What if Ben is finally healthy? What if there’s still enough of that old All-Star/DPOY-level player in there? What if the playmaking, size and defense actually fit? What if Sacramento somehow gets the version of Ben Simmons everyone has been waiting to come back?

Do I realistically think this experiment probably ends exactly how everyone expects it to? Yeah.

Have I already imagined the version where it somehow works and we’re all calling Scott Perry a rebuild genius? Also yeah.

I know better. I really do.

But I’m excited to watch this ridiculous experiment anyway. 😂

And apparently, according to Perry’s checklist, he fits the job description perfectly.

The man delivered Red Panda on opening night.
