Am I doing something wrong

I started keto 33 days ago and I like the way I feel doing it but I feel like my weight isn’t dropping as much as I thought it would so far. Am I just being inpatient ? I’ve lost only 7lb so far. I keep my carbs 20g or under and my deficit is 1500 but most days I end up closer to 1200 calories a day due to not being that hungry. I try not to compare my journey to others but it’s harder seeing other people losing 10+ pounds in the first month and I’m still not there. Any tips or tricks ?

Be patient.

7 pounds in 33 days is great!

What is your starting weight and how tall are you? Often the people who lose a huge amount are losing water weight before fat.

Congratulations on the 7 pounds! 😀
When I rejoined Keto about 2-2.5 months ago, I’d read posts about people losing 20 pounds in a month and was jealous.

For me, I saw maybe three pounds the first month and then these past six weeks the weight has just melted off and about 2-2.5 pounds a week.
I also did a couple of things after the first month.

-I put my scale in a tote and put it in the garage. I weigh myself twice a week now. It became unhealthy for me, and honestly I think the stress of it released unnecessary cortisol.

-I tracked everything I ate. I use the Keto.app.. I have been counting calories my entire life and I’m usually spot on with telling you the nutritional information in something. Where I was off, by about 500 calories a day and about 12 net carbs was what I was putting in my mouth.

-I bought a food scale.

-I ditched anything “low carb” or “keto” branded

This is a marathon not a sprint. 1-2 lbs a week is max for most of us and will usually slow down or stall over time. Keep calm and keto on.

I know it's easier said than done but you need to be patient. The weight will fall off, but your body is going to prioritize healing first. Weight loss will always come secondary to that. It took 2 months before I started to see a significant drop, but I felt so good doing keto that I didn't mind.

Thank you guys for all of your words of encouragement. I definitely realize I was being inpatient lol , mostly due to a 5 day stall I just had . But I am definitely not giving up. I’m so excited for this journey

Yes, you're being impatient. Seven pounds in a month is a fairly good rate. In looking back at my numbers, I was averaging about five pounds a month. That was still 50 pounds in the 10 months it took for me to hit my goal and maintenance. You didn't say how much you're trying to lose, but give it six months and see where your progress is at.
