What was this fire in Kenmare river 2 weekends ago?
Hi all, I've taken this photograph of a fire which _seemed_ like wild fire on Inishfarnard island, Oct 18 early afternoon, but could anyone confirm that was indeed a wildfire? The cloud of smoke hovered over south Iveragh late into the afternoon.

Kerry Airport Taxis
Howya, I’ll be landing at Kerry airport on a Saturday morning in Nov. There’s a gang of us (including a baby) so I’m wondering what to taxi situation is like at the airport. We’re heading to Tralee so hoping to get a 7 seater or two smaller taxis. Do you have to pre-book or is there a taxi rank at the airport? Also open to other suggestions of least hassle way of getting to Tralee with all the baggage and baby gear.
Likewise our return flight is on a Monday morning. Is it better to prebook a taxi at the hotel in Tralee or can one be easily got by hailing or on an app?
Thanks a million

looking for a place for halloween as an exchange student
Hi yall, i’m an exchange student from italy (F17) in ireland. I live in tralee and i’ve got no idea what to do for halloween. I can’t stay out so late but still i’d like to do something. All the friends i made here already have plans with people they know (i’m not invited btw). So do y’all know some place? (better if it’s closed cause it’s probably going to rain)

Tralee Town.
My mom is in the Bons and I visited her today, I had to step out as she was meeting the consultant. I hate to be be negative but tralee town center is rancid and rememesant of a North of England town center. It's full of vape, phone and barber shops, seriously tacky. However without them there would be lots of empty shops, it's such a pity as there are great people there, but now it's on a downworld spiral that is difficult to escape.

Going to Dingle in September next year, advise on accommodation please?
I'm trying to find accomodation, not necessarily within single town.
I'm looking to stay somewhere between the 2-5th, or 3-5th September.
Due to the marathon, a lot is sold out at the minute. (I'm doing it too)
Managed to find only one within the town (sort of) but it's a quadruple room. Not too expensive at all, but it's too much room. I've booked it for now though, to secure a place.
But I don't like taking an extra 3x beds, which someone else may use.
So I'm looking for advice on accomodation, where it can be upwards of 30mins from the town. I don't mind.
If I can get pinpointed in the right direction, that would be much appreciated.
(Please not, I'm not rich, I can't pay the expensive lodgings I'm seeing ATM of £1k a night 😭😭😭)

Dingle is a Tourist Trap.
Designated as a Gaeltacht area, hardly a word of Irish to be heard there, American loudmouths all over the place, the majority of hospitality employees are foreign nationals and a Toasted Special in one of the Bars 14+ Euro
