I wanted to share a little project I’ve been working on. I scratch-built a Kei truck model with a slammed style to give it that cool, low-rider look, and turned the truck bed into a mini EDC tray.

It’s a bit small, but a practical little truck for your EDC. What do you think? :D

Looking at the Anglicized owner's manual they show the lift points at the four wheel wells but with "attachments." What are the attachments? Can you just use a block or something to clear the lip and lift from the wheel wells?

Looking to pick up a kei truck for plowing a 500 yard driveway and random other tasks on a 120 acre lot. I'm leaning towards a Daihatsu Hijet due to the shorter wheelbase and 4x4 with low gear. Preferably looking at 1999 to 2006. That being said I'm open to feedback if anyone has experience with plowing with one of these rigs. I live in MN so it's hit or miss, but some years we have no shortage of snow.

I’m working on a newly acquired, very low miles E07A. It was put into this truck (an HA2) after the fact. I ask the question because the motor was swapped out in ‘22, and I’m trying to figure, what are the odds that this is the original ‘89 carb?

IOW, one scenario I have a four year old carb, and I might do a top rebuild. The other scenario I’ve got a 37 year old carb, and I probably need to rebuild or replace.

Your collective wisdom?

Btw, I just replaced the air solenoid thinking it would fix. It didn’t. Yes, I’m getting spark.

Does anyone know what I can get for a replacement gas cap? It doesn't have to be locking or anything special, I just want it to fit and seal.
