Assistance Needed Windows and Adobe open source

Has anyone gotten from there admin the "free" Microsoft/Adobe programs from artcraft. Asking to replace all of the apps that it could?

https://getartcraft.com/apps

What do you guys think, I just downloaded them and going to try them out, they especially want the PDF Craft.

The Word and Excel knockoffs look so similar, I imagine they'll be sued in the near future.

Edit: The Adobe stuff looks like a straight copy too.

They couldn't get me to change to Foxit, I ain't adopting this either. I don't even care at all that it's built with AI. It's a new product to learn, support, and provide training for, only to save a couple of bucks.

Nothing is going to change on how I review software. If it has to be actually installed it could easily be a supply chain risk.

I figure when my boss gets back, this will be a discussion.

Slop-ware. Wouldn't trust it to outpace any of the other Adobe CC competitors.

Lots of viable options, but not this.

Looks great but I am concerned that this is likely 100% vibe coded.

This is 100% AI vibe coded and should not be used in production environments

Tried their PDF program and I'm sticking with PDFGear. It's well developed and works well combining, editing, etc. on PC and Mac. Glad to be away from paid Acrobat.

It'll be great to see ArtCraft develop all their apps over time.

Adobe does cause some headaches, but license pricing coming in less than $2 per user per year makes it feel like it's just about free anyway.
