I’ve recently been getting back into J-music in general as a way to help past time at my warehouse job. Usually I listen to Korean and there, the english mixing sounds quite natural and fitting.

However my current playlist which is on youtube by @DarkChillGirl - their most popular video, basically all of these the english mixed with the japanese sounds like random words that just rhythms with the music beat and thats it.

I’ve been told Japan is the worst at english among the developed nations and listening to the Japan’s PM speeches where she also blurts out random english… It just makes me think for the average Japanese if you can pronounce english, even if it makes no sense then it’s cool. This just me?

I encountered this song online by a K-pop group. Which got me wondering if there are J-pop covers of Spanish language songs too.

Recently, I became interested in a J-pop band called 13.3g. I really enjoy their music because it has a fresh feeling and a city pop vibe. I listen to them quite often these days!

I hope I can go to Japan someday and see them live.

Has anyone here seen them live in Japan?

I'm really into this song by rosu right now, does anyone have recommendations for similar songs?
