Hi guys, i updated my ipad A16 to iPadOS 27.2 yesterday when it came out and today while i was trying to take notes in preview, i noticed that for the pen the colors seem to be inverted, black pen is writing white white ink, white pen is writing with black ink, and the highlighter also seems to be darker on the same transparency setting, is that happening with everyone or is it just for me?

Hi I bought my neurodivergent tween an iPad Pro (M5) last year at Christmas to replace her several years old iPad mini that never gave us any trouble.

In July the Pro bricked itself and wouldn’t take a charge. We got a replacement through Assurant. The replacement did the same thing about 4 weeks later. They sent another. That one lasted 4 days. Then they sent us to Apple for a warranty replacement through them.

We got a FOURTH from Apple one a week ago and now this one won’t charge. We were out for most of the day yesterday and it died for the first time and now will not turn on or reboot.

We either use a MacBook charger or the charger the iPad came with.

It’s like once it’s the battery is fully discharged, it’s dead FOREVER.

Wtf is going on?? Is it something we are doing? She isn’t throwing it around. We’ve never had an issue w previous iPads (had them for multiple children since 2013). I am so frustrated.

Hey everyone,

Ran into a serious display issue with my iPad today (see attached video/photo).

Across the entire screen, there are persistent horizontal multicolored lines, static banding, and noticeable discoloration/fading behind the lock screen UI. Touch still responds fine (Touch ID prompt and keypad register touches), and there are no visible cracks on the outer glass or display.

A few details:

Symptoms: Heavy horizontal lines across the display, color distortion, and screen flickering/fading.

Troubleshooting tried: Forced restart (as seen by the "Touch ID requires passcode when iPad restarts" prompt), but the issue persists on the boot logo and lock screen.

Physical condition: No drops, pressure damage, or liquid exposure right before this happened.
Has anyone experienced this specific issue before? Is this indicative of a failing LCD/display panel, a damaged display controller, or could it just be a loose display flex cable? Wondering if I should brace for a full screen replacement.

Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I recently got my iPad Air 11in a few weeks ago and was able to edit my app colors to a light blue color to match my design. Last night I updated to iOS 27.0.1 and now my apps are a dark blue color and I cannot get them to go back to being pastel. Im on dark move but have tried flipping that back and forth and it doesn’t change the color of the apps. If anyone knows what might fix this I’d be much appreciated!

My iPad will only print if I restart it. It will only print once. Then I have to restart my iPad to print again. Is not the printer, because I can print from my iPhone. I use an iPad mini (A17).
