Need prep interview questions

Hello everyone! I wanted to make my first post here as tomorrow I have an interview. I’m a 22 year old out of high school with just a high school grad. While it’s not my first interview I haven’t worked before and my previous interviews haven’t landed me a job so I wanted to be extra prepared for this one. I’ve noticed in my previous interviews they asked questions more specific to the job but I think that was mainly due to them being in animal care so they needed to know certain things like if I understood canine body language so I’m not sure if it’s the same for this job. The interview is for a restaurant photographer. I’d love some help on knowing what they are likely to ask and how to respond especially with no job experience.

They'll probably ask about your camera and editing skills more than anything. Show them some photos you've taken, even if it's just stuff from your phone. If you got an Instagram or portfolio, that counts more than work history for a gig like this.

Hmm that definitely makes sense. Honestly I don’t have any photo editing skills, which I’m hopeful isn’t the biggest turn away due to the description saying they are willing to train and experience isn’t required. As for my camera work I think I can make a folder tonight of my better pictures tho it’s mainly of my cats 😅

For a restaurant photographer role, expect questions about approaching guests, taking direction from restaurant staff, staying calm when someone does not want a photo, and handling a rushed or awkward interaction. You can answer without paid experience by using school projects, personal photography, volunteering, or any situation where you listened, adjusted, and finished something reliably.

⭐ STAR method: keep the setup short, say what you personally did, and finish with what changed. Prepare three examples tonight: learning a skill quickly, handling an uncomfortable interaction, and receiving feedback.
