I have a first round interview this Friday and I have no idea what to expect. Any tips/suggestions for how to prepare?

I’m a supply chain masters student who’s applied to about 75 internships so far. I have about 1.5 years of work experience as an assistant buyer at a small company and haven’t gotten an interview. I had some interest in P&G for their supply chain internship role and even did a phone screen but after expressing that I was more interested in the purchasing internship (you can only interview for one and I was told my resume would be sent to the purchasing team) it’s been crickets. I have gotten maybe 5 denials but no change in application status when I check my job portals for any of the other ones. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing or if I need to change my resume.

Does anyone know what the process is like, how many rounds, etc?

Well I have applied to quite a few AMD roles but the main one was the ML/AI intern in Markham(with a referral). I have applied close to 2 months ago and what's frustrating is that the status hasn't even changed to under review and it's stuck at application received.

Do all the application status go from application received to under review or should I just lose hope?

TLDR

Just trying to figure out more about the AMD hiring process and need to know how long to wait. I am playing to other roles in the mean time.

Ps. The other roles I applied to moved to under review but they have stayed like that for almost a month now.

Basically applied to 3 positions at this company got a email saying they want to do an interview the email was very vague “We received your application for our internship opportunity” so im not sure what position this interview is for.

Im afraid to ask because it would make me sound like im clueless and that I just mass applied without knowing what I applied to.

But I don’t wanna be unprepared and caught of gaurd. Like if they ask me a question specific to that job and I won’t know it because I prepared for another position. I could prepare for all 3 but its in a day and i don’t have time.

Basically the title, has anyone who interned during this summer heard back for RO? My recruiter said they won’t be able to say anything before mid November which is pretty panick-y for me as I graduate in December.

I recently completed my 21 days of front-end training in Vidyanagar, and honestly, it was a really nice experience!

The best part was that training usually took around 30 minutes to an hour, and then we were free. 😂 And the best part? It was unpaid! 😂

I enjoyed the experience, learned some new things, and got a chance to explore front-end development. Honestly, it was a lot of fun!

I need an internship certificate asap for my college. I am not sure whether they will do this or not but they are telling me me they will not allow me for the exams ( I have low attendance as well)

On the time of the summer holiday when we where meant to do the internship I worked on a full time role as a Junior GTM Engineer. I left that one and currently working as a GTM Associate in another one.

I preferred working on a role with responsibility which required me to take ownership and be accountable for the results than just doing an internship just because your college asked for it, but they couldn’t care any less about that and told me no matter what you did you have to come up with a certificate. Yeah, I understand that these stuff are important and there is a reason why they are asking us to do it…. But man .. how could I have left an opportunity like that as a 20 year old BBA student?

It would be really really helpful if anyone can help me with that. I can pay like ₹2000 for the certificate as well.

I am 2nd year student at a good university and have been applying to internships (want to get one for summer 2027) since around early August and apart from 6-8 OA I gotten around end of September/early October, I haven’t gotten any other one and been mostly ghosted for most of October and lowkey stating to stress on what to do next. I cleared my R2 Case Study Round for ION Group which was an on-campus opportunity. By the grace of god, I have been shortlisted for the in-office interview round, ION Superday at their Noida office. Anyone have any idea what to expect for the next rounds, how many rounds will I facing, how to be better mentally prepared for tomorrow ?
