Dehydrate chicken breast?
Could i dehyrdrate a chicken breast, turkey or any other boneless meat, to a point where it actually becomes something dry and slicable like salami, etc? Using ip 11 in 1 Duo crisp

I cooked some quinoa, TVP chunks, leeks, dates, mushrooms, sultanas, broad beans and dill, stuffed an entire pumpkin and pressure cooked it in the Instant pot for 17 minutes. Served with pickled red onions.
This was so good and so satisfying!

This is really simple, easy, cheap, and tasty. Recipe in OG post.

I have a 9-in-1 pro plus Instant pot with WIFI, bought it last week.
Performed the water test, all fine.
Cleaned the pot and the lid, dried, all fine.
Inner ring was sealed properly. Always used more than the minimum amount of liquid.
Whenever the recipe demands it, I add the same amount of liquid, or a bit more. I even used Instant pot’s own recipes in the app.
Cooked stock, all fine. Cooked meat, all fine. Cooked white basmati rice, used rice:water=1:1.20, couldn’t get past the preheat stage, said food burn.
Cooked risotto, sautée mode went fine, deglazed, added rice to pressure cook, same thing, said food burn and couldn’t get past the preheat stage.
Ive checked the forums, the manuals, just can’t figure out what’s gone wrong.
Whenever I open the lid, the rice is indeed cooked, but it never gets past the preheating stage.

Feel like a total idiot but poured soup back into the pot without the inner bowl. The model is DPPC604, 5.7 litres, 220–240V — the Duo Plus with WhisperQuiet. Any suggestions?

I accidentally touched the heating element while it was hot with the sleeve of my sweater and some of it got onto tge heating element. Now it won’t heat properly. I have a scouring pad, white vinegar, baking soda, and a microfiber cloth. What is my best course of action? Has anyone here made this stupid mistake before too?

Pot Info - I have the Duo Crisp + Airfryer. Can I get frozen chicken breasts partly cooked, then grill or pan fry to get a better texture? Shredded chicken is great, but sometimes I want something else and only have frozen.

Googled and it said it might be a lack of liquid issue, but that makes zero sense. Had an instant pot for years before I moved that was great, was so sad I couldn't bring it with me. Got new used instant pot delivered yesterday, and when I'm trying to make soup it says "burn" any idea why??

It was delicious! Fluffy and flavorful.

The screen on my air fryer suddenly dimmed. While annoying, it's not the end of the world. The problem is for the left set of numbers where the temperature is it's not dimmed consistently. When the oven is OFF, the left set of numbers says OFF. Well now the parts of the number on the left that correspond to the world OFF don't turn on when the oven is on so it's really hard to see.
Has anyone repaired this? Have any tips? It's well out of warranty so I doubt Instant will do anything about it.

I got an instant pot last year for Christmas and I've never used it, let alone a pressure cooker before. What are some of your go to meals and I've also heard you can use frozen meat if you haven't thawed anything out. How well does that turn out?

I know it’s just the heating element kicking in, but there are products like the zonirushi rice cooker that have silent keep warm functionality.
Curious if any of the instant pots are quieter, I have an instant pot duo nova from probably about 10 years ago now.

My instant pot leaked twice recently, so I ended up buying a replacement ring on AliExpress. The new ring works great!
Just wondering did I wait too long to replace my old one?

I’m fairly new to using my instapot (maybe ~6 times total), and as I was packing away my stuff to move out of my home it fell out of the back of my trunk onto the ground.
It took a little bit of damage, the bottom plastic piece broke off and the side is dented. The part I’m mostly concerned about is the top steam weight. That piece flew off completely, and I’m wondering if it’s still safe to use/functional?

Wtf ? Instant pot australia has the worst online purchase policy ever I placed an order on official website, I haven't received any update about estimated delivery date besides I can't even cancel the order now because the site states no return or refund on change of mind !? What should I do ?

been doing boneless thighs for tacos on weeknights. 1 cup of broth, 12 mins on high, then i just let it natural release while i sort the rest of dinner, usually 20 mins or so.
flavour is fine but they come out kind of dry and stringy, more like sad pulled chicken than juicy. my partner says theyre fine but honestly he'd eat anything lol
is it the time, the long natural release, or should i just be using bone in? what times do you all use for thighs?

Hi! I have a 6qt instant pot and a roommate melted the lid :(.. Ive done some searching and can't find anywhere that offers replacement lids, any advice? I'm just using the pot as a saute machine now..

Instant pots terrify me but I'd really like to try this recipe. I know sometimes the liquid measurements can be different so I thought I'd ask here.
Here is the recipe:

I set my instant pot to “Steam” and threw in some dumplings (Aji no Moto brand shumai btw) and when I pulled the Quick Release a lot of steam came out.
Traditional steamers don’t pressurize the container and I was hoping I wouldn’t pressure cook my dumplings. I’m thinking of locking the Quick Release to be always open for the whole cook but that sprays a continuous blast of steam out which is annoying, and the instant pot is stuck on preheat when I do that.
I eventually gave up and let the pot pressurize and reduced my cooking time (my dumplings came our fine btw) but I still don’t understand how to do a normal steaming with the thing

This is going to sound completely stupid (yes, I am a moron) but is this the showing the float valve in place? For some reason I thought there was a piece that stuck up above the lid a little. I haven't used it in a bit since it was washed and put away last time and now I am worried part of it is missing. For the life of me I can't find an image on Google of this model.

I'm getting the dreaded C8 error literally every time I use my (8-quart) IP to do anything other than make yogurt. I have tried everything from switching out the ring to deglazing multiple times to adding slightly more liquid to changing the pot (I only have two pots, one of which came with the IP and the other of which is identical) to taking the pot out and letting it sit for 10 minutes before cooking. It happens when I saute and when I don't saute. Am I just going to have to buy a new one? I wish I had just kept my original IP because this one has had problems almost from when I got it.

I just bought this instant pot. I opened it on Monday (yesterday) and did the water test. I made dinner on Monday. I made dinner tonight (Tuesday). As I was going to clean my kitchen, I notice this crack on the handle/outer seal part. Upon further inspection, it looks like there was an impact to this handle, as there is a small dent where the handle connect to the pot.
I did not notice this when I opened it, but I could have missed it. I have not dropped it at all, so I’m guessing the fall happened when it was being shipped.
Is this crack something that is dangerous and that will prevent me from using this? The main inner pot is fine, and the removable pot is fine
