You can survive with iphone X for about 3 years with sideloading.
Well, I recently ‘downgraded’ from iPhone 12 to iPhone X unwillingly😄 but I am loving it. I was running ios 27 on the iphone 12 and ooh boy..God knows I have tried loving liquid glass but naaah. My main issue is just how things look oversized and the touch targets are so big..apparently apple cares about accessibility so everyone gets grandpa UI..iMessage used to contain 8 messages at a glance..now you only see about 6 because of the vertical padding and huge buttons. Maybe I am biased because I like compact UI but who doesn’t want more information at a glance?
I wanted to use twitter but then it says “please use official X platform to sign into X” for whatever reasons. Then I discovered you can sideload those apps using freely available IPAs. iPAs still support up to ios 15 for modern apps, I think it will take about 3 or 4 years before all the IPAs refuse to accept iOS 16.
