Recommendations for UW/PSU game for an out of towner
Greetings! I will be coming for the Washington/Penn St game on November 7th. My buddy and I usually do a CFB trip every year but weren’t able to get something together, and I’ve always wanted to go to a UW game, so I just decided to embark on this trip solo (just in case anyone wants to invite me to their tailgate/sailgate). That being said, I am looking for any and all recommendations, Gameday and otherwise.
Flying in from Atlanta Thursday morning. Staying near Gas Works Park. Also, I am a huge Georgia fan, so I will need somewhere to watch the Georgia/Ole Miss game which kicks off at 4:30 PT - I took a bit of a gamble hoping that the UW game wouldn’t be at the same time as the Georgia game and it paid off.
Looking forward to getting up there and checking out UW & Seattle. GO DAWGS! TIA for any advice.

Missed Opportunity
At this mid-point in the season, I was thinking back to pre-season when we were encouraged to believe that Fisch's third year team would be taking a giant step forward, along with Sun Bowl Demond.
Obviously, the exact opposite occurring instead is frustrating enough, but quite a few B1G teams look, well, vulnerable, if only we had just an adequate team. To miss out on the opportunity to capitalize on other teams stumbling further irritates me with both Fisch and Demond.
Watching U$C yesterday I got annoyed all over again that we lost to them. And, sure, the Quacks quacking it up in Champaign is great, but I can't even properly enjoy their off-season natty to basement dweller plunge.

Washington Huskies lose 84-80 to Washington State Cougars in final exhibition game
Huskies had leads in both halves, but were unable to maintain them. LeJuan Watts with a game-high 28 points, Lathan Sommerville with 19 points and Nikola Dzepina has a 16-point, 12-rebound double-double.

Satire Why don’t the Ducks just score more than the other team?
Hello, I am a foreign student from India at the university of Oregon. I am wondering why the ducks do not kindly score more points than the other team during football games? It seems like the team that scores more points typically wins the game, so why are the ducks scoring less points?
I also noticed the little number that shows up in front of the teams name on the scoreboard ticker is gone. What does that mean? I believe it was 2 at the start of the season and now it is gone.

Illini 21 Ducks 10
UW and UO both 4-3
Same same right...?
I want a bowl game this season, maybe 7 wins if I'm being selfish. But really if we can beat oregon this year, in autzen, it'll go a whole long way for fisch

Tell me I’m out to lunch…
But with Harbaugh’s dismal season with the Chargers, who you feel if we went after him for our HC?

Is there any hope for the men’s hoops squad this season?
After losing Diallo and Steinbach (among others), while seemingly not replacing them with any high-quality talent, expectations are looking pretty dim for the Dawgs. I want to believe they can piece together a winning season, but I honestly cannot convince myself that’s even possible at this point.
What do you think?

[MEN'S HOCKEY] The Huskies host the USC Trojans this weekend at Northgate! Fri @ 830PM and Sat @ 715PM
USC is traveling to Seattle this weekend to play the Huskies.
USC has traditionally given the Huskies an annoying amount of difficulty, even when USC is an objectively bad team(such as when they had like only 6 subs on the bench the whole season and still beat us).
The Huskies are 7-1 heading into these games and should hopefully come out the other side 9-1!
The theme for this weekend is PINK THE RINK!
As always, tickets for anyone over 12 are $10, kids under 6 and veterans get in free, and student tickets and kids 6-17 are $5.
You can find my season preview here if you'd like.

Takeaways from UW MBB practice Oct. 20 (was opened to the media)
Tristan Devers and Wini Braga both have solid practices, LeJuan Watts looks like the go-to offensive option, and more.

Visiting for Penn State weekend (Nov. 7), looking for tips
I will be attending the Penn State game on Nov. 7 in a group of 4 men, age ~40, from New Jersey. First time at U. of Washington for all, but 2 of 4 have been in Seattle before.
I am looking for tips on game day (e.g., tailgating, exploring the area) and any dive bars to visit around campus on Friday. Any advice/opinions are welcome!
There are some other big-time college football games that same day, so I am also interested in great places to watch those games on Saturday (pending the PSU-Wash game time).
Thanks in advance.

Quick questions about visiting the stadium from a Hoosier.
I'm an Indiana fan and I'm traveling to Seattle for the game on Nov. 21. I had a few questions ahead of my visit that I hope some friendly Husky fans would be willing to answer.
First, where would you recommend I sit? Is there a dedicated section for visiting fans? If so, what row would provide the best view and weather protection?
Also, if I were to splurge for a 200 level Club Husky seat, would I be welcome there as a visiting fan? I'm not a psycho or an asshole, I'll just be wearing cream and crimson.
Also, thanks for taking care of Michael Penix Jr. for us. We loved him at IU and it was fun to root for the Huskies when he was there.

[MEN'S HOCKEY] The Huskies steamrolled Gonzaga this past weekend, beating them 15-4 on Friday and 10-2 on Saturday
Congrats to Lampman and Sun on their hat tricks on Friday! Lampman even got his entirely in the first period!
Caleb Price(former U18 New Zealand national team goalie) got his first start for the Huskies on Saturday.
This upcoming weekend is USC at home. Let's see more of the same!
