Hey everyone!
I'm a longtime Michael Jackson fan, and I'm excited to announce that I'll be hosting my very first MJ NIGHT in Houston on Saturday, December 5th!
I've always wanted to put together something where fellow MJ fans can come together and enjoy an entire night dedicated to his music, so I finally decided to make it happen.
We're talking four hours of nothing but Michael Jackson, The Jacksons, and Jackson 5! From the biggest hits and dance floor classics to underrated tracks and deep cuts that don't get played nearly enough.
Whether you're a fan of Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, or HIStory, there will be something for everyone.
Event Details:
This is my first time putting together an event like this, and I'm hoping to make it a great night for everyone who loves Michael's music.
If you're in Houston or anywhere around Texas, I'd love for you to come out and join us!

Pretty big long-shot here but I’m wondering if anyone knows about jazz big bands looking for players. I play alto sax and I really miss playing from my high school and college days. It’s been something on my mind for a while now and I can’t stop thinking about it.

pretty self explanatory, i want more friends who play instruments and go to shows and stuff. 17-21 preferably. ive been playing guitar for about a year now and my current obsession is slipknot but i listen to a fuck ton of bands, usually more on the tech death side or brutal death side, along with some doom and thrash. im also starting a doom band sometime soon and may need additional members for that. dm if interested

I recently got into playing the handpan and I have a D Kurd 10. I’m looking to connect with other handpan players in the area!
Would love to find some people to jam with, learn from each other, or just hang out and make music together.
Does anyone know of any local handpan communities, meetups, or anyone who’d be down to play together?

Accidentally bought these when I wanted to go to the San Antonio show. I went and it was sick. I paid $55 for each, but make an offer. Don't want them to go to waste.

I have a variety of songs made for my music album, ranging from Houston chopped n screwed, rap, pop, country, etc. I’d like to work with one producer to create all the songs and mix in the audio. This is for my personal business and would be used in marketing. I’d like to discuss options and prices. I have 10 songs made so far. Please, serious inquiries only.

Hey guys! I’m looking to start a rock band with a mix of alternative rock, pop-punk, nu-metal, and ska-rock influences. Think Weezer, System of a Down, Linkin Park, The Beatles, and No Doubt. I want to make music that’s catchy and melodic but can also get heavy, experimental, and a little weird. Think strong vocal melodies, harmonies, big riffs, dynamic instrumentals, and songs with their own personality.
The goal is to play covers, write original music, record and release projects, and eventually play live shows. I’m looking for guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer, with at least two members who can sing.
Ideally, I’m looking for people ages 21–27 who are serious about making music, want to develop their sound together, and are down to be consistent and ambitious. We can figure out a rehearsal schedule together, but I want people who genuinely want to build something.
If you play guitar, bass, or drums and are interested, comment below and I’ll message you! 🤘 Be ready to share a little about yourself, your musical influences, and any recordings or videos of you playing or singing. I want to start setting up auditions and jam sessions so we can see how we sound together. Looking for people who are ready to put in the work and help turn this into something real!

Anyone selling one ticket for the original sale price or something slightly higher?
The current resale tickets are at 230+ and it's just infeasible for me to get one. I heard about the show too late.

20yo M I wanna jam
I’ve been playing guitar for abt 5 years
I’m pretty damn good at improv and finding my chords on every octave and am experienced with alternate tunings. I also have a broad taste in music.
Hmu 🙏🏾

Hi, my band (name is a work in progress) is looking to complete our lineup with a second guitarist and another vocalist. The genre is shoegaze, very MBV and Whirr inspired, with dashes of slowdive. We practice in Alvin, so transportation is preferred but if you live around the SE area, we wouldn’t mind picking you up.
Ideally between the age of 18-25 and has a decent pedalboard for not dry tones.
DM if interested, thank you!

HOUSTON, TX — Music producer, audio engineer, and frontman Brent Millet (known professionally as Bug Gigabyte) has officially announced the relocation of his permanent studio and creative operations from Lafayette, Louisiana, to Houston, Texas.
With over 20 years of experience in experimental sound design, stage production, and music industry knowledge, Bug Gigabyte brings a deeply established Gulf Coast industrial/goth/electronic mentality to Houston. Best known as the primary creator behind the international industrial darkwave project SINthetik Messiah. A musical act that experiments in dark techno, trip-hop, electro, and drum & bass, Millet’s move marks a strategic expansion into one of North America's most dynamic cultural underground musical hubs.Houston.
"Louisiana built my foundational roots in musical composition/performance and audio engineering, but Houston's massive diversity, energy, and thriving arts ecosystem make it the ideal home base for my next phase," says Millet. "I'm excited to collaborate with local venues, artists, and event promoters while contributing my original music to Space City's rich underground sound movement."
Millet enters the Houston market following a series of major career milestones:
"Lies, Secrets and Death" (2024): An ambitious multimedia release featuring a narrative book(available on Amazon) paired with a 9-track album submitted for Grammy consideration that year. A remix that reached #1 across all of Bandcamp “Best Sellers” and features remixes from global heavyweights Assemblage 23 (USA) and Counterstrike (South Africa), with analog mastering by David Villalta (Three 6 Mafia, Wiz Khalifa, DJ Spin).
"Red Line" (2025): A high-energy Electronic Body Music (EBM) / Industrial Dance album that climbed into the Top 100 Dance Albums on iTunes in the UK, released with German label Plasmapool Records.
To celebrate his relocation and recent releases, Millet will perform live under his SINthetik Messiah project at Scout Bar in Houston on October 30th. The lineup features Belgian EBM legend A Split-Second, New York's Ghostbells, Dallas’s DJ Whisperwish, and a showcase of well known local industrial/goth texas acts.
For this Set I'll be performing music from this album:
