Just started collecting this season. Pulled this black dazzlers McDavid out of a tin from Target. Haven't seen too many out there. The best YGs I pulled were Eklund and Yakemchuk. Happy hunting everyone!

The third card in my collection.. The goal is to get this (and my Mack / Nabby) card signed.

I’ve been reading about the 2010–11 Score Taro Tsujimoto #659 card and its different versions. I’ve seen PSA-graded copies of the Glossy parallel, but I can’t find any official Panini information confirming its release.

Does anyone know how rare the Glossy actually is compared to the base SP and Gold /25? I’m curious if it’s potentially the rarest or most desirable version of the card.

I had a bunch of answers of what I should do, so I went in a few different directions!

First off, I’m a Red Wings fan. So I spent some money on eBay getting some rad jersey cards of some of my favorites. It’s wild to me how cheap most of them were. I also bought one of those Centennial hobby boxes and didn’t do too well.

I also bought a couple of hobby boxes of UD Artifacts, SP Authentic and UD extended series.

I didn’t get anything life changing, but it’s been so much fun opening cards and finding ones I would have dreamed of as a kid.

My wife doesn’t care, none of my friends care, so idk. I’m just sharing with a community that might think I’m off to a good start without also having anything super expensive.

Just a small purchase, but I like the Royal Blue colour scheme and any card numbered under 100 is a win for me.

Pretty happy with all the pulls, especially the YG Porter Martone and Ilya Protas YG and the UD Canvas YG of Carter Yakemchuk, what does everyone think about the Stencil cards? I think they're pretty slick.

how does this even happen when the rest of the cards in the pack were pristine…was just hyped to pull an auto of any kind ripping my first hockey blaster box but what the hell lol

Snagged a 2022-23 MU hobby for a solid price, but boy howdy was it a lame rip. I mean, super fun rip, but the results were disappointing. Not a single numbered card and a very “meh” auto.

Pictured are all the inserts, the rookies stack, and the base stack. Metal Universe will always be my jam, tho! Huge fan. Dig the Aspects a lot.

No young guns of note but these made up for it.

I dont really open many packs but found myself purchasing a box from my local Target. I got a silver card that says Ottawa Senators rookie redemption. I entered the code on the Upper Deck site but it doesnt give me any information on what this "Redemption" is. Has anyone done these before and would you have an idea of what it is?

Nothing crazy but was just thrilled recently have several tables of hockey to peruse at a local card show. Snagged all these for $20 but more than anything just had a fun afternoon enjoying this hobby

Got these in the mail yesterday

Here’s what I’ve found so far, I’m really liking the MVP cards. I have gotten some really nice cards out of those boxes, I might hit up my local sports card shop tomorrow to look at the 24-25 hobby box. The Connor Mcdavid card was a lucky pull from a small pack I found at the dollar store! Still trying to get a feel for what I like but I feel like this is a good start for me.
