I never want to dwell on my problems. I always try to ignore the negative aspects, because I know that if I focus on them, I won't be able to get them out of my head. Things that affect me physically, like my stunted growth and the inability to address it during the pandemic. I'm still the same height as I was in the fourth grade. This has likely impacted my self-esteem, but I'm also significantly below average. Furthermore, I suffer from phimosis. However, I know that I won't be able to use it in the near future. But putting aside these issues, I know that this isn't normal for someone my age. But to be honest, this is the norm for everyone. Thinking about the people around me only makes me feel more inadequate. People who make me feel incredibly self-conscious about having or not having what is considered "normal." Yes, I feel like a failure.Despite having a group of friends who are all good with women, are tall, attractive, or skilled in something, I still feel like I'm not good enough. I consider myself funny, but sometimes I'm just too afraid to tell jokes for fear of what people might say. I know they appreciate me, but it still doesn't feel like enough. I want to be someone, not just another face in the crowd, but how do I achieve that when I'm the most average person possible? I know I need to work hard in life, but I lack the skills to stand out in anything. I don't know what to do. I think I'll just spend Halloween alone. On the 30th, my friends are having a party, and I won't be able to join them. I just can't seem to socialize well, so I don't know how to talk to them or be around them. If they come to say hello to my friends, the most I can do is stand there like an idiot, waiting for them to finish talking so I can go back to being alone.I'm just... there. And there's no way I could go to the party. I could ask my best friend to tell them, but it just makes me uncomfortable. I don't like to intrude or go somewhere where I'm not invited, and I don't know if I'd be treated well. I know I'm not my best friend's favorite person, and I'm not anyone's first choice. I've always felt like an outsider. But lately, I've been ignoring it, even though I know it's true. But the party made me realize the reality. I don't know nearly as many people as I thought, and no one knows me. I'm not included in anything, and I can see that things are only going to get worse. I'll never be seen with a woman alone. Either because I don't know anyone, or because they've never shown any interest in talking to me. Am I really that boring? At this point, I don't even know what to do.
