I'm trying to suppress uncommon guns. I started with a Walther P1 with the locking block system. This time it's a gas delayed blowback Vector CP1. Barrel removal was a little tricky since there is little to no documentation. But it got done.
You don't see those too often. Weren't they recalled for safety issues iirc? Still. Nice work. I think a SilencerCo Osprey would make it look like something out of Cyberpunk 😂
Pure Cyberpunk 2077 vibes. Looks like something an Arisaka assassin would carry. Now THAT's a one of a kind range blaster 🔥 shame you have to Israeli/Condition 3 carry it unless you want to risk an AD. That Osprey looks like a natural fit since there's obviously zero aftermarket suppressor height sights or RMR cuts. Doesn't look like it obscures the sight picture too much.
I saw your other post about how it got recalled for not being drop safe. I looked it up and apparently the South African Vektor CP1s got some kind of safety pin block but the US models didn't and they just got recalled. So they're quite rare today. Which is a real shame. It's such a cool design.
no i don’t live in SA. I have internet buddies who live in SA who also collect guns and they have access to vektor guns. Apparently they are somewhat affordable as far as guns go
It's the same . I have both other guns as well. What was more difficult it that bi had to remove the Hammer / spring and rear guide rails to be able to remove the barrel. I ended up printing some pressing jugs at 100%fill
I'm so in. Great collection. I only have one different than your CP1. I have an Alien. Got it used from a friend who wanted a 2011. His loss my gain. 😅
Hello, u/retep4891. Per the sidebar rules, link posts require a description in the comments of your post. Please add a description or this post will be removed.
What is a link post and how do I post a descriptive comment?
A link post is any post that isn't a text post. Reddit is doing a great job of ensuring new users have no idea how Reddit works with their app and site rewrite. We hate both.
r/guns is a sub for talking about guns. It's not a sub to dump gun photos for karma. That's what r/gunporn is for. That's why we require a descriptive comment – to start a conversation. If you're wondering what to write, picture yourself at a party. You're talking to someone you just met and you want to show them your post. What do you say to them as you get your phone out?
I don't know why this needs to be explained, but apparently it does. A comment is a comment. It is not your post's body text/photo caption. We are not asking you to edit anything. We are asking you to post a top level comment under your post.

Vector CP1 gas delayed blowback. I removed the barrel threaded it and made a barrel extension. The barrel is fixed and should not require a booster.
