Questions Would Dipper technically be considered necromancer?

He has done necromancy but he is not a necromancer. Distinction is just how often he has done it and the fact he is not training to improve in it nor memorizing spells for reuse.
I think he is probably best classified as an arcanist. He is not trained in any school of magic, but collects information about magic which he can leverage through either magical items (e.g. the mirror to capture the ghost) or through understanding how to cast a spell from a book (e.g. raising the dead).

Basically Dipper dose it out of necessity or curiosity
Necromancers do it for the love of the game

Does it make you a necromancer to have done it once?? I feel like you gotta actively practice and use necromancy pretty regularly to be considered a "necromancer", I think calling Dipper one just cuz he's done it ONCE is pretty presumptuous lols

Kind of unrelated but that was weirdly foolish of him.

"He's just a 12-year-old boy acting like a 12-year-old boy. He was insecure, it wasn't his fault, but another character was selfish too"

that's like saying I'm a psychologist after one psych class
it's something that takes study and time. best i can say is if he liked doing it he's an aspiring necromancer

i don’t think so. he didn’t resurrect old life, he imbied new life on the dead.

Not really, Dipper has time traveled more than he has necromanced, but you wouldn’t call him a time traveler, at least not in the way you call Blendin Blandin a time traveler
It’s all in the frequency and how much of his time it takes, Dipper is more of a researcher than anything

I can go to the county fair and ride a horse , but I can’t say I’m a horse rider

I mean, reading from a book is technically being a nerd. The fact that the book raised the dead is inconsecuential because he had no control or effect on them. He would be a necromancer if he could raise a corpse and give it at least 1 order.
In fact, the zombies were somewhat targetting HIM. He is technically zombie chow.

Yes, in the sense that he is a person who necromanced once. Maybe twice but I don't think the ghost stuff counts tbh. But no, not in the sense that he's considering it as a career or lifestyle.

Bem... Tecnicamente sim. Mas também poderia ser considerado ladrão por furto por causa do Diário, fora invasão de privacidade lol

I think you have to deliberately raise the dead to be called a Necromancer. If it's accidental, you're just called irresponsible.

So raising the dead once doesn’t make you a necromancer, huh? But kill a guy ONE time and now you’re a murderer? This is bullshit

Here we go again, you raise the dead One Time, and suddenly you are labeled a necromancer for life.
This is just like that time in Milwaukee...
