Offering free coding / web development help to women who need it — no strings attached

Hey everyone!

I’m a developer with experience in full-stack web development, coding, and general tech stuff, and I figured I’d offer some of my time to help out for free.

Whether you’re learning to code, struggling with a project, trying to build a website, or have an idea you don’t quite know how to bring to life, I’d be happy to help.

I’m particularly looking to help women who need an extra hand or work handled in tech. Just my small way of paying it forward.

Not selling anything, not looking for clients, and genuinely not expecting anything in return.

If you’ve got something you’re working on, feel free to comment or DM me and tell me a little about it. :)

Edit: Just to clarify, I’m offering my time and technical help, not promising to build entire startups from scratch, haha.

Edit 2: I highly respect being cautious, and understanding intentions first. I strongly encourage anyone who has interacted with me to post their experience if they feel like its worthy of mentioning.

I like this idea so I’ll tack on as well. I’m a software developer / manager of software development / hiring manager who has done hundreds of candidate interviews, especially for interns, new college grads, and early-career devs. I’d be happy to help any women who need candid feedback on resumes (redact your personal info) or screening interview practice.

If you’re having trouble getting interviews or getting the interviews but then not getting offers, I may be able to offer some insight based on my experience.

That’s beautiful mate. DM me and we can see how we can work together and benefit people. Namely because I’m not as good as teaching and guiding as I am in doing actual work, so we could possibly cover for each other in different aspects.

There's something insanely weird about a guy offering help ONLY to women. If you want to offer your resources that bad for free, make a youtube tutorial? Idk why you need people to reach out privately. What are your credentials? Like all we're getting is what you're telling us.

For the women reaching out to him for help, there's literally free youtube tutorials and several public subreddits for women in tech/stem to ask for help. Don't reach out to this person.

Also.. as a women in tech, I always check reddit post history. The guy's profile is a little weird.

There was a comment yesterday urging people to be cautious and the language was very fair, I replied empathising that yes people must certainly should always be cautious and that I encourage anyone that deals with me to post about their experiences.

This comment is not in its place, and it’s overly hostile. You know exactly who the users are that I told to DM me, instead of libelling me, you’re completely free to message those people and ask them directly, ask for screenshots…etc

Hello! I’m stuck and want to learn python, but not sure how. Hoping you’d be able to help point me in the right direction, thank you for the help.

I’m not OP, but I highly recommend Codecademy! It is a great free resource that offers a structured online environment for learning Python as a complete beginner.

Yall be careful. Unclear of who this person is but men will say stuff like this and then as you to show them your boobs because they “helped you out”.

This comment is fully in its place. There is all the reason to be weary, and I encourage care.

I stated my intentions in the description but I strongly encourage anyone that has interacted with me to post/comment their experience if they feel it’s worthy.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
