GB Top 100?

Since folks are getting confused in the Twitch chat and repeatedly asking the same questions, and there doesn't seem to be a post anywhere on the site or socials let me do a thing:

GENERAL BOMB-A-THON NOTES:
Subscriptions purchased from https://www.giantbomb.com/join and https://www.youtube.com/giantbomb/join count for the tracker. Like last year's Bomb-a-thon, Twitch subscriptions do not count for the tracker.

For new folks or anyone unaware, the YouTube price is higher because Google/YouTube takes a 30% cut, but you can link your YouTube account to the Giant Bomb site to get the advantage of using your Premium membership to unlock archive videos and access to the currently in development game tracker etc.

Want to gift Premium to a friend? You can at https://www.giantbomb.com/gift-premium

There's also Ko-fi incentives - you can find info on that at https://bsky.app/profile/giantbomb.com/post/3mxwlt2dbq22w

Rather than announcing all the goals right at the start like last year, they're announcing the goals once they've hit the active goal on screen.

NEW SUPPORT TIER:
Now available on the website and YouTube channel: PREMIUM 64

For $25.00/mo or $250.00/year (taking this from the site, YouTube pricing may be different), it includes everything already offered with Premium plus:

• Ad-free Last of the Nintendogs - Jeff Grubb and Mike Minotti's Nintendo podcast every Tuesday
• Ad-free Game Mess Decides - Jeff Grubb and Mike Minotti's gaming podcast every Thursday
• Video & Podcast RSS Feeds for Nintendogs and Game Mess Decides
• Rotating "Kumite" office hours with a rotating member of the Giant Bomb crew
• Periodically decide what we play with "YouPF" voting power for Unprofessional Fridays
• Merch design sessions
• Your name in lights on Game Mess Mornings (scrolling on the ticker bar during each episode.)
• Longer/RAW cuts of things like travelogues etc, per Jan.
• Provide a higher definition of support for indie games media

Current site subscribers looking to upgrade to the new tier should use the Manage Subscription section of their profile on the site (important since the upgrade fee is pro-rata if you've already got remaining time on your subscription!), and if anyone currently has a Lifetime Subscription from the Game of the Year live show way back when and gets a "funny number" when looking to upgrade then email support and Chuck says he'll sort it out.

Also: no, Last of the Nintendogs and Game Mess Decides are not going to be locked to this and will continue to air as normal on the Jeff Grubb's Game Mess YouTube channel, and Premium 64 does not include access to the Game Mess Discord which remains a benefit to their Patreon subscribers.

FREE GAME CODE FOR NEW AND UPGRADING SUBSCRIBERS:
Brand new subscribers and current subscribers who upgrade to the new Premium 64 tier are eligible to receive a game code from a selection of codes - Big Walk was mentioned as one, sorry I can't remember the rest. Codes will be issued at random by Mike once they're back home.

UPDATES ON GOALS FROM LAST BOMBATHON:
All outstanding goals from last year will be provided by the end of this calendar year - the Christmas album, the video game, etc.

NEW PREMIUM SHOW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Coming to Giant Bomb Premium: METAL GEAR SCANLON: PEACE RYCKERT - debuts THIS MONDAY (OCTOBER 19TH!) (Trailer post on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/giantbomb.com/post/3mxwkspfwts2f)

Also, as a result of hitting an early goal, our sweet sweet Jan will be blighted during tomorrow's 12 hour stream and his blight will continue as a Premium Blight series. AND if/when the goal hits 2800 subscriptions, Abby from Brooklyn will return in... THIRTEEN DEADLY SIMS 2!

NEW MERCH:
New merch featuring designs for the Giant Bomb-a-thon and Metal Gear Scanlon: Peace Ryckert are now available - including A BIG MUG - on https://store.giantbomb.com, and if you buy something you'll make a Mikey very happy! :)

MAINGEAR:
Once again, the Giant Bomb-a-thon is being hosted by MAINGEAR's studio - if you buy something from their site and use the code GIANTBOMB at checkout, you'll get your item (or "anything that can be signed" per MAINGEAR themselves) signed by the crew. I think you may also get a 1 month free Giant Bomb Premium code with your order also, per some folks in the chat.

... and I think I got everything.

Enjoy the Bomb-a-thon duders!
