People keep saying "Zoink is limited by genetics on Grief" like its not a skill issue. You can definetly train your spam and get better at it just like any other skill in the game. I admit that there are some genetics involved, but its really not as big of a deal as people make it out to be and if he had actually trained some spam before Grief he would have been much better.

Is this true? I mean his opinion is significant since he's the best player afterall

Just your average teen gd player whose parents wont let him buy gd.

One thing before I begin. I don't know what flair this should be.

I'm playing Silent ClubStep... My hardest is the Nightmare. (My laptop hardest is the nightmare since I started playing on it a week ago) And so far I have 9-28%, 33-49%, and 0-7%. No. I'm not trying to beat Silent Clubstep. I. Just trying to do it in Runs. See that? The word "Runs"? I know some people can't read.

And I need help. What do I need help With? What I should do that'll help me focus and get better runs. This post could be useless and no one could reply. Which would be awkward.

Why am I doing this? I'm bored and I have nothing better to do in life.

Looking for advice here. I have been playing GD seriously for a year or so now and I started the demon grind maybe 6 months ago. I have put a lot of time into the game and developed good discipline with completions, good ship and wave control, better nerve control and timing abilities, etc. As of right now I have completed 70 demons and my hardest is the hard demon overnight. I have basically beaten Windy Landscape (best of 88, haven't had the motivation for a good session to beat it).

I have been assuming that going for an extreme is still something far in the future for me, but today I was playing a nerfed copy of bloodbath for fun and was doing well, so decided to try out Bloodbath for shits.

I got the level down in these runs in about an hour-long session and 536 attempts:

0-13 9-27 24-36 33-52 41-77 70-85 85-100

I was shocked by how easily these runs came to me and how consistently I was able to pass the gameplay. I guess I have a decent amount of skill at the game and know the level so well that it was much easier than I anticipated. From this session I feel that I could get the level down to 3-4 runs with another hour or two of playtime. This makes me feel like I would have a real shot at going for the level. Am I being naive here or are these runs in only 500 attempts actually an indication I should go for the level? Is it worth jumping from a hard demon to a mid tier extreme? Will this take so many attempts that I will regret the jump or end up dropping the level? Any advice is appreciated!!

I play on mobile and after my 96 death, I got super inconsistent in this.

As an experiment I switched my icon colors to shades of yellow. Before this, I had 2 runs over 60 (68, 96). After I switched I got the following runs:

From 0: 66, 68x5, 77, 87, 88

Runs:11-87x3, 23-100x2

Edit: As it turns out maybe yellow is the strat. But who knows, everyones different. Im getting a tad more consistent but also maybe its just me getting better 💁

Also also I havent beaten it yet 😥 will be my seventh level beaten and my fourth demon beaten, also a new hardest when i beat it (current hardest is Retro Circles)

Edit 2: After switching my icon colors is when I got more runs from 0 over 60. Before I only had those 2 mentioned above

As anyone who’s made a text post lately will tell you the ability to add another email address to your account was only added a few months ago or so, however in the grand scheme of things this means relatively little

Someone with access to the main email address associated with your account can completely lock you out of your account and delete your account without you having any say or access to recovery, this is an issue for me specifically as I had an at the time friend make my account way back in 2015

How can someone with just your main email lock you out of your account and even delete it? Simple, there’s a segment under “forgot password” where you can claim you’ve been compromised and like that the main email will receive a password reset link, you don’t need any old passwords or anything to prove your identity ,that also deletes any recovery email without question, they don’t even need your account password or anything tied to your GD account

I’m pushing this issue forward in hopes that we can get backup phone numbers for accounts, even if it can’t save my account due to not having spoken to the person my accounts’s email is attached to in 8 years it should not be that easy to takeover an account and delete it, even if it’s simply a 4 digit code text to delete a whole account it should not be that easy to have complete control over an account, especially not with the txt file leak from last year

What can you do if you no longer have access to the main email address associated with your account? Pray that nothing bad happens to that email address

i keep getting posts that are like: who will be first victor of grief, and the comments on those posts are insanely stupid. i saw someone say "wpopoff is objectively better than zoink" and when someone replied "how is he better than zoink?" the dude just called him a zoink glazer after that i saw "popoff is so likeable he deserves this glory" like WHAT i cant with this community bro someone should just get first victor on grief already so i can stop witnessing this stupidity. and can the youtube content creators PLEASE stop making those kind of posts

With new top extremes being verified more than ever and them being harder than ever means players will take longer and longer to beat each top extreme.

This means that there are not enough victors for a particular level and as a consequence not enough opinion on each level and opinion based ranking itself is a non ideal system anyways.

This problem only continues to grow deeper as the community expands and more levels get verified with absurd difficulties. It also creates a lot of negativity and unnecessary discourse in the community since no average player can have any meaningful discussion about difficulty because they haven't gotten close to attempting the level besides saying "it looks difficult", or "x player said so".

I thus propose some people start thinking about this growing issue as the earlier it is resolved the better. The scale may take a weighted average of things like length, sight readability, cps, frame windows, nerves etc. Some inspiration could be taken from how new ai models are evaluated based on a weighted average of benchmarks to make a score in the intelligence index .

I'm relatively new to the community and was baffled as to there not really being an objective system and saw everything through fresh unbiased eyes to arrive to this conclusion.
