Enclosures Winterizing

Just built a little heat sink to go around the gecko for the winter. I'm hoping this holds the heat around the enclosure a bit. If needed, I can add an emitter to warm the ambient and drape cloth around the exposed areas. Next up, rigid insulation around the sand boa. Think these measures will help?

If you can get Styrofoam you could build an isolating case around it and only leave the air inlet and the front open, that should easily hold him warm enough

The cloth is blackout curtain liner. If needed I can put rigid insulation on the frame. I'll be using rigid insulation around the sand boa. I have time to monitor this, see if it changes anything.

Building not heated?

It is. But it isn't insulated very well and the heater struggles to keep up. We don't get a lot of really cold days but this should help a little.
