Tonight at Queen Street Bar our players took on 7 Wonders, fought for trophies in Challengers, went treasure hunting in Clank, battled it out as spymasters in Codenames, took on a zombie horde in dead of Winter, competed to cultivate the most successful forest in Photosynthesis and managed a fleet of ships in Space Base!

Galway Board Games is a community for adults who enjoy modern board games, meeting regularly in Galway since 2019. We typically have 15–25 people at each meetup, playing a huge variety of games from our personal collections.

You don't need to be an experienced player or have a collection of your own. New to modern board games? That's fine. There are always people around to explain a game, and plenty of games to choose from.

You also don't need to arrive with a group. Come on your own, join a game already in progress, or bring something you'd like to play.

No experience required. No collection required. Just turn up and play.

Downstairs cold taps/mains into washing machine not working since 7/8ish

Car was dead this week and had to be jump started. I'm not 100% that it is the battery and my mechanic is off for the week so I wondered if Halfords have a multimeter that could confirm a battery fault before buying one off them?

Looking for weekend job -Sat & Sun. I've looked up a few factories (Boston/Medtronic/creganna) and none seem to be hiring at the moment. Does anyone know if there is any smaller places in Galway that have a sat/sun shift and have openings ? Thanks
