Progress Post Restarting - my timeline

Hey guys!! Just wanted to give a little motivation to everyone who is struggling with gaining weight and other diet issues.

I have been skinny most of my life and it wasn’t until around 21 that I actually started gaining weight and putting on muscle.

I’m posting pictures of where I started at, where I got to, and where I currently am.

I started around 135-140 at 6’0” and I’ve been fairly active my whole life.

I got up to 160 for a while and it wasn’t until last years summer that I got up to around 190 while I had a gf.

I then started working 60 hours a week for almost an entire year and me and her also broke up so I just honestly stopped eating as much as I should and went all the at back down to 140 this last month.

I’m going to fight my way back to 190 maybe even 200!

I’m also going to be doing it off of a clean diet and no dirty bulking (except maybe for chocolate milk protein shake)

My current workout regiment is 3 times a week. Push pull legs.

Pic 1: 21, 145
Pic 2: 26, 183 (got up to 190)
Pic 3: 27, 140 ish (1 month ago)
Pic 4: 27, 14o ish(1 month ago)

Another big thing I will say is that my chest is always lacking in size so I will try and really work on that this next bulk cycle.

I can do about 13 pull ups right now good form as well.

Remember gents, if you aren’t gaining weight, JUST EAT MORE ❤️ it’s that simple.

Also highly recommend cronometer as it’s free and tells you your micro nutrients as well. Best diet app I’ve ever used.

I try to work out 4-5 days a week and i’ve tried to stay co consistent with diet but i think i just only focused on protein and ate as much as i could. i want to cut but i dont know if ive gained enough muscle in the “right way” to look good when i cut. I want to be lean buff with like actual strength.

Question How much truth is there in expanding stomach capacity?

I've seen a lot of people say that if you keep consistently eating a bit more overtime that your stomach will expand and you'll feel hungrier/won't get full as quickly? Is there any truth to this or is this a silly myth. I go through phases where I try to gain more weight and eat a bit more, but I feel like I'm constantly going back to square one over and over again. If increasing your stomachs capacity is true, is it possible that over time it can go back to its original capacity? Or does it basically stay at the increased capacity?

Question 81 lb college student struggling to gain weight, what are some fast to consume, portable, and convenient meals/snacks?

I’m a 5’1 21 yr old man who’s 81 lbs

Ive always struggled to gain weight throughout my life because of neurodivergency and mental struggles, I tend to forget to eat meals and have difficulty finishing meals because I seem to get sick of the taste/texture while eating.

This year of college has been particularly tough because I’ve been going through more mental struggles and my schedule is loaded with work and class making it difficult to have time to be at home cooking/eating

This has resulted in my being the most underweight I’ve ever been in my life, and I’m not so proud of it, no grown adult should be only 81 lbs

What are some good portable meals/snacks good for weight gain that I can keep in a bag or container and be able to eat on the go? I’m not necessarily a picky eater. Drink recommendations for weight gain could also be helpful
