Is anyone else bothered by how many events of little things at Fresno State seem to happen on Wednesdays? I’m sick of it.

Maybe most students are here MWF, maybe Wednesday is just the free day most staff and faculty have to pull off such things. As someone who tries to maximize his time by choosing only TTh classes, AND who commutes from Lemoore I’m really annoyed by it.

Counselors meetings? Gotta schedule them in advance for any other day of the week, but Wednesdays? Just walk in, it’s Walk in Wednesdays. “Good Morning Commuters” event? Wednesday morning 7:30 to 9:30.

Maybe it’s negativity bias but so many things I’d kind of be interested in are always on a Wednesday and it’s really annoying,

Anyone who has done their teaching credential program here, what was the overall cost? Did financial aid cover it?

• Has NOT had their teeth cleaned in 3–6 years.

• May have significant plaque or tartar buildup and might need a deep cleaning.

• Does not have any major dental concerns, such as broken teeth or other issues requiring immediate attention.

• Has a flexible schedule and is willing to commit to multiple appointments.

⏰ PLEASE NOTE:

Since this is a dental hygiene school clinic, the process may take approximately 4–6 appointments, with each appointment lasting about 3½ hours.

It's been kind of hard for me since I don't really have time for clubs and stuff and being autistic makes it even harder. I was hoping to find a support group for Neurodivergents/autism but I couldn't find any and I guess I was just tired of feeling like the only one, you know? Like surely I'm not the only autistic person that exists on campus and that in making this post I could find others like me and we can connect and be friends :) or just in general, feel less alone in being the way I am by knowing there are others like me out there. If you're interested in being friends, like I said I'm pretty busy and can't promise a lot of time to hang out but maybe we could at least be chatting/gaming buddies?

A bit more about me: Very shy and awkward but once you get to know me I'm a big weirdo who never shuts up xD otherwise I'm a chronically online loser lol I LOVE to game and my fav games are marvel rivals, dbd, outlast trials. I also enjoy cozy games and rpgs! Big fan of horror, whether that be movies, games, or books! My favorite author is Stephen King and I've read many of his books :) and I'm currently having a horror movie marathon for this spooky month. I love horror games even though I'm too scared to play them most of the time, I really love FNAF! I'm also an English literature major who enjoys creative writing and making up scenarios for my little characters. A few TV shows I like are invincible, the boys, and AHS. I also really like cartoons and animation of any kind. But overall, I consider myself an open minded person who likes to dabble in a little bit of everything and will try to see the merit in any kind of hobby or interest! I took English 5b and want to retake it for a better grade at a community college. However, I don’t know what the equivalent course would be. I know there is a website where you can check institutions and see what the course equivalent would be. Does anyone know what the website is I forgot 😭

By chance, does anyone know if we will receive the full amount of our MCS, or will they divide it between the semesters? I’m confused because I’m transferring next semester, so I don’t know if I’ll receive the full amount shown or if they will only give me part of it.

Im going to be applying to nursing programs soon and I was wondering if I stand any chance at getting into state.

- 2nd Degree Applicant (fresno state alumni)

- 4.0 prereq GPA

- 3.6 overall GPA

- 93% teas

- no previous Healthcare experience

I wish I had a better overall GPA but I have over 150 credits and it's tough to raise at this point. I'm applying to ADN programs at well, but it would be nice to be on a more accelerated path to BSN.
