Yes I'm aware its wonky and not perfect, I don't intend to put a paywall on anything thats my own content, I'm happy to hear feedback (the sound for some reason didn't pick up my recording of crowd/commentary noise). This is just the way I want my FM to look I understand lots of people dislike 3d graphics mods and the like but from those who do I'd like to hear more in terms of what you'd like to see.

The Simulation Soccer League is a Simulation League based on the game "Football Manager 24". However, here, you don't need money, a powerful PC, or even the game itself; a Discord account and internet access are enough!

In the SSL, you create your player with a point budget system, with more points becoming available throughout your career just by staying active.

After that, you'll be assigned to an academy with the other new recruits for one season (a little less than two months IRL) where you will play two matches per week (streamed on YouTube on Tuesdays and Thursdays). At the end, you'll partake in the end-of-season draft (MLS Style !) to join your future team for a social based-adventure ! What we offer :

• More than 230 active players on 28 different teams on a league starting its 28th season
• A totally custom-built and easy-to-use Portal to create and evolve your player each week
• A welcoming and growing community that has a true passion for football/soccer and the Football Manager game
• 2 different leagues (Majors and Minors) each having 2 divisions with a promotion/relegation system and a cup which sees all the SSL teams compete against each other with matches played on FM 24 AND commentated in English by members of the community

Got taken over in my fifth season with Man Utd, new owner literally investing nothing in the club.

When I play I imagine so many extra personal stories in my saves. Like when I do a non-league to glory I will always keep 1/2 non league players in my squad for the rise even if they are well behind the curve, bonus points if they came through the youth. If a player forces a sale then I will hold a personal grudge against them and everytime I play their new club I make all my players work so much harder.

FM27 early access is almost here. I'm not asking for team suggestions, just curious what everyone has already decided for their own first save, and why. Are you going for a big project, a small club you want to build up, or just your boyhood team?

I've been working on my match renderer mod for a little while now and would like some feedback and some thoughts on how you guys think it looks, what needs to be improved (other than grass) and how you'd suggest making things better!

Some top teams are so hard to beat, I tend to give up on some of the away games, rest my strong players. Does this strategy sounds ok? Also don’t play strong players will keep their morale high?

I have an FM14 save I have wanted to go back to for years, but I'm on a Mac, and the original Mac version is a 32-bit Intel application that modern macOS won’t run. So every time I try to start it through Steam, I get something like, "your OS cannot run this game".

On Friday, I asked ChatGPT 6.1 Sol (medium) if it could help get it working. While initially hesitant and trying to get me to install Windows on top of my Mac, after a bit of prodding, it found a project that has done something similar: AArchX, an open-source project that runs Intel Mac software on Apple silicon.

ChatGPT built on what they have already done, investigated FM14's problems, and added compatibility fixes and a Steam launcher. The original game files are unchanged.

4-0 down at half-time with the current-day Manchester United team (updated squads with summer transfer window disabled).

We got absolutely SMASHED.

Half-time I brought on Mainoo for Ugarte and Dorgu for Shaw to move from FB to CWB and just a few tiny tweaks (shorter passing, but still balanaced mentality).

Got it to 4-4 and changed to attacking mentality and direct for the final winner.

Incredible.

Players

• Change any attribute: technical, mental, physical, goalkeeping and the hidden ones (consistency, important matches, injury proneness and more)
• Set position ratings, so a player can play anywhere
• Set Current and Potential Ability (CA/PA) and turn any youngster into a future star
• Edit personality: professionalism, ambition, loyalty, temperament and more
• Change name, date of birth, nationality and place of birth
• Change, add or remove second and third nationalities
• Change looks: ethnicity, skin tone, hair colour and hair length
• Add or remove player traits (shoots from distance, tries tricks, curls ball and 56 more)

• Refill condition, match sharpness and morale, and rest jaded players

Find players

• Search every player in the game by age, position, CA, PA, nation, club, contract end, transfer list or free agent
• Sort by any column and double-click a player to edit him

Staff

• Edit any coach, scout, physio or analyst: coaching, goalkeeping, mental, knowledge, data analysis and medical attributes
• Edit their personality, reputation, wage and contract expiry
• Change their job at the club (coach, assistant coach, scout, physio, analyst, technical director and more)
• Move them to any club, keeping their job and contract
• Find staff by job and attributes (for example every assistant coach with Tactical 15+), age, club, or only the unemployed

You (the manager)

• Edit your own coaching, mental and knowledge attributes, personality, reputation, wage and contract length

Squad

• Heal every injured player at once
• Max out a whole squad's attributes
• Get the whole squad fit, sharp and happy before a big match
• Freeze condition, sharpness and morale so they stay at 100%

Club

• Set your balance, transfer budget and wage budget
• Freeze your money so it never drops (income still counts)
• Upgrade facilities: training, youth, junior coaching, youth recruitment and corporate
• Raise your club's reputation, all the way to Worldwide
• Change stadium capacity and how much of it is used
• Rename a club
• Set season ticket holders and the average ticket price
• Change sponsorship deals (main kit, back of jersey, training kit and general sponsors)

Competitions

• Change prize money for every finishing place or cup stage, in any competition

Safety

• Every change is logged and can be undone, one by one or all at once
• Works in your own currency (€, $, £...)
• Checks the game's data after every scan. Any part that does not look right becomes read-only instead of writing to the wrong place
• Recognises which FM version is running and finds its way again after most game patches

How to use

1. Back up your save .
2. Start Football Manager 26 and load your save.
3. Unzip the download, run FM26 v1.1.exe and click Attach & scan.
4. Search for a player or club, make your changes and click Apply changes.
5. Continue one day in FM to see the changes. They are kept when you save.

Works on Windows 10/11 with the Steam version of FM26 (tested on 26.3.2).

Idk how similar this is IRL or if there's some sort of tax exemption that comes with the contract type but every negotiation begins with the player wanting DP status.

I could offer them more playing time and promises to keep them happy, even more money on a senior contract and just buy down their cap hit but sometimes they just immediately leave discussions if they aren't a DP.

Fellas, if you don't agree to being on a senior player contract and making the exact same money you can't play.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get around these negotiations?

In most of my saves since FM11, Mourinho seems to end up at Atlético Madrid at some point. van Gaal left Bayern Munich to AC Milan in my FM11 save as well in the 12/13 pre-season.

In one of my FM22 saves, Xavi managed Benfica and was very successful there, winning the Portuguese League a couple of times in a row and also winning the Europa League.

In my FM24 save, Arne Slot managed Man Utd and Jürgen Klopp managed Porto. I don't remember if Slot won anything, but Klopp won the Portuguese League a couple of times in a row.

Some generated wonderkids can be from Thailand India that can play international games very early, do you give a small edge since international games exp can help them grow?

I think I have never gotten a succesful appeal in 500 different cases. Why is the feature available if it is impossible?

I have this striker, Josh Philips who I signed because he had high tackling for a striker and I thought he would be interesting. However he has developed very well and would be an amazing striker except for his 8 finishing. I’m thinking of training him as a dm or cm.

Is there a way I can work around this without having to stay up 24 hours in FM26 mobile?
