Premium bucktail
I'm tying a fly order that is mostly big stuff for Canadian Pike and Musky, including some 10" long flies like Popovic's Beast and Double Bufords. I'm thinking I'm going to want the high-end bucktail for this. Since Primo Tail is no longer available, my next choice is Musky Fool's MF-A grade hair, but it's out of stock at present. I've been looking at Marabou Bros. "El Presidente" grade. Does anyone know if one of these is superior to the other, or if there's another brand I should be considering that I don't know about?
I don't live anywhere near a fly shop that would carry stuff like this, so it's going to have to be ordered online.

I bought some Marabou Bros. Nice bucktail. The presidential are nice, straight long fibers. If they ever come back in stock Gallop sells Verner bucktails. Those Grade A ones are amazing. Very soft long fibers

Good to know! I recently bought some of his quarter ounce select Mallard flanks for doing Boogeymen and Zoo Cougars. They have really nice stuff

Just got some from figure eats, haven’t tied with them yet, but they look solid. A second for fly south as well.

I know the musky guys are getting lots of props here, and for good reason.
But another killer option is Nash fly works.

Musky Fool went out of business temporarily, but got acquired by a new owner and they're in the process of of re-opening. The dude that did all their bucktail set up on his own. Figure Eats Bucktail is the name
