1980s Peugeot
It’s a 1980’s (im not sure of the exact year) peugeot high carbon steel track bike. Currently i am running a front rim brake bc İstanbul is incredibly hilly and the gear ratio is too high for a constant skid on hills, it was built by an incredibly skilled bike builder and welder @annunakkibicycleco from a old track bike, the builder disassembled the frame’s tubes and cut them for a more street focused shorter design and tig welded them together before applying a chromium finish, the whole bike weighs less than 11kg even with a flip flop hub

That’s a road bike with a fixed rear wheel, a non-ideal brake lever choice, skidbike pedals, and missing bar tape.
It looks like it’ll look nice when the build is finished.

That’s called a clean build, this bike holds more history and thought than any bike you can imagine, before making stupid rash comments think about what and why people actually ride. To actual bikers, bikes aren’t just tools, they are works of art

people that hate on conversions are goofy

They are. I like them and it’s even more sad when the person who did the conversion is ashamed of it.

seems kind of crazy to have a custom built road bike and run it fixed, sweet whip though.

You can tell a lot of work has been put into this bike. Slick and slender. Looks like a rocket.
