Help/Advice Are these eggs?

Post image

I found these on some Anubias I added 2 days ago, not entirely sure if they were always her or not though. my tank doesn’t have any fish/snail and such (that i know of at least) bc i just started cycling. if they are eggs, is it possible to tell what kind of animal they are and if i should get rid of them (also this is freshwater if it matters)

Looks like bladder snail eggs. Cool dudes!

I know people think of them as pests, but I enjoy them and they’re about the only snails I’d consider. They can over populate quite easily as 1 can breed with itself, but as long as you’re not over feeding it helps keep the population down. Personally when I start noticing an upswing in their numbers I’ll remove the eggs when I see them, and the small ones when they come to the top for air. You can also get some fishes that will prey on them to keep them in check- loaches are good.

Thanks- I was probably going to get snails anyway but wanted to make sure they aren’t bad.

They’re pretty common hitchhikers on plants and very difficult to get rid of. Really they’re harmless little cleaners that breed like rabbits on viagra. Luckily I really like them😊
