2001 Camaro dashboard replacement

Anyone know where I can order a reasonable priced dash board replacement? I see one on eBay for $400 ish … I remember seeing one for sale for $250 or so, a few years back. Can’t seem to find it. I don’t just want a cover on top of the badly cracked one that’s on there.

I took mine off and just tossed one of those carpet covers on top even though I don't like them it looks better than a busted up pad. Ive seen comments about people buying one of Temu or AliExpress, one guy said it couldn't handle the heat where he lived, others said it seemed fine.

Sounds like mine. Warped in 80 degree PA heat. Didn’t even get to our summer temps

Check Facebook market for people parting cars out locally. I got lucky and snagged a dash and dash pad for $50. Unfortunately the dash pad cracked on me during install though.

You could also check car-part.com for local junk yards

basically anything you pick up from another car is going to crack on you during install. They've all had time to dry out and not be flexible. Until someone starts making OEM style replacements we're stuck with the coverall replacements.
