Guide Beginner friendly step-by-step training mission guide

Hello all fellow aviators! Im new to BMS and are falling off now and then due to the steep learning curve. So for my own sake i started to generate a document that would help me get started with self-teaching.

Perhaps this is something other beginners would like to use as well?

What do you think? Can it be refined? Should i make more , for the other training missions?

Maybe instead of your clanker generating a overweight document, feed it with the technical manual (has the BMS script engine documentation), 3dckpt and 3dbuttons, and key file and try to crate a scriptfile that can be loaded together with a TE .tac file or assigned to a training .trn file and get a interactive in cockpit guidance

Wondering if you managed to achieve this

Plz let me know if you get stuck anywhere or become unnecessarily frustrated during any of the steps.

Im thinking to add a lot more technical information during the "Sweep pass 1" so the reader understands why we are checking these panels and dials and what their functions are, however that might blow up the amount of pages even more

Honestly thanks for doing this, I also do recommend going into detail as it helps to know all this, but I would recommend splitting it out into an "in depth" section. That way people don't get overwhelmed with the entry level EZ guide.

As an alternative if your pulling info from the main manual that comes with the game, you can just reference the pages and chapters, so you don't have to rewrite everything over and it keeps the size down. Both would work out fine.

He didn't write it Ai did. So literally no effort to change.

I love making my own checklist when learning new aircraft. It's the best way to learn imho.

Out of curiosity, is this document made by you or by AI?

Great work! I like the layout and structure compared to the actual manual. It is a lot easier to read to find the relevant sections. Mission 2 on Navigation would be very useful. What AI tool did you use? I have been using free versions of CGPT, Gemini and Claude for doing different document summaries.

Fantastic, thankyou.

I was hesitating for entering Falcon because of the learning curve. I will surelly try following your guide.

The built in documentation is quite good too

Just what I need as I do get overwhelmed in the amount to learn! Thanks!

Am I the only one that never actually read the manuals but rather watched in depth videos about the systems I wanted to use and how they function? I was literally in a mission tried doing stuff and if I didn't figure it out myself id watch a video about the radar for 30 min. That way I could still have fun while learning Instead of trying to be unnecessarily boring while learning. It was better for my ADHD brain that way. Learn and try it out. Learn and try it out . And then after knowing almost the whole jet I the looked up the manuals for specific question

Why? What's wrong with the included manuals? The one's that have been written and refined by actual BMS devs where the BMS community pitches in to identify errors which is then corrected on each iteration.... why not use that instead of an AI-generated one where we don't even know how accurate it is and how much of it is hallucination?

BMS manuals arnt bad or wrong at all. But there is missing a step by step manual to help self-teaching. Which is brough up in the BMS forum.

The source for this document is souly from BMS supplied documents. Even the images!

The training manual isn't step-by-step enough for you? The checklists not clear enough?
