LDS Temple in Fairview update

FAIRVIEW RESIDENTS AND FRIENDS: The Fairview town council entered a non binding agreement with the LDS regarding the McKinney temple. Attached is the agreement. Note item number 3, the LDS were supposed to submit a new CUP by January 13th. That did not happen. The town kept their part of the agreement, the LDS did not honor theirs.

Fairview residents you can help by giving $5, $15, or $25 or any amount to support our town to the Legal Defense Fund: https://fairviewtexas.givingfuel.com/zoning-defense-fund

Fairview United is still committed to ensuring that our zoning laws are respected and homeowners are protected. For more information, please visit our website at FairviewUnited.net Thank you!

I would like to ask one of its residents to please put in a request for the city to sweep the road more regularly. This might be beneficial to motorist too. I am an Allen resident so I don’t have login access to submit a ticket. Thank you!

Current status of the proposed LDS Temple and lawsuits

Doss anyone have any details on the status of the proposed build? I know the city rejected it in August and that some of the church members filed suit with the city. I was very impressed with how residents of Fairview joined together to fight this. How do you see this resolving?
