I had a stupid fun idea; What if I bought 10x of the Blood Raider Blueprint Crates from the extended reward track from the event and see what I could get. (Spoiler it went bad)

At the time of buying these they were selling for 2.5b each; but I thought F it why not! So I got myself a crate of beers to hype myself up; to make the bad/fun idea a reality..... Well turns out the drop rate is terrible lolz........ just sell them xD

The event in general is once again amazing, I especially loved the Class 1-3 sites which are pure gold! CCP if you're reading this I would love to see these sites in other events in a similar fashion but with a twist to change it up and make them different.

I have no video editing skills or any interest in learning how to do so, so please excuse the music and lack of visual or lack of sound effects. Regardless it was fun to do, the ISK was burning a hole in my pocket anyway.... That's pure copium talking right there lol.

So I picked blood raider side meaning I needed to do Tertrimon sites. Being in null sec and having limited access to this content (disappointing btw FC, this is my favourite event and you shafted null sec) I’m down to scanning sites.

The past two days, here are my results

Systems visited: 72 Signatures found: 85 Crimson harvest network nodes: 72 Tetrimon harvest network nodes: 13

So not only shafted due to limited combat sites, but I also chose “the wrong side” as barely any of the other sites spawn.

The whole event has been very lopsided and I hope next year they consider all player bases when cherrypicking where and who can complete the bar.

I’m almost done training maurauders, and would like to know if the fitting is similar to other faction/T2 battleships, since I’ve been running missions in a megathron navy. It’ll also be good practice for eventually using a moros.

Is 12+ hours of d-scanning and bookmarking across 2 weeks to locate a single Large Secure Container worth it?

I don't fucking know but I hope the end result is funny enough to warrant the effort.

Hi, for the past year or so I've been building a battle report site, killmail.app. It's been up since March and people have mostly found it through word of mouth and Discord, or when it was featured on CCP's community post, but this is my first public post about it. In the 7 months or so, 50k visitors have found it and live viewers peaked at 266 when Asher said Goons were #1 titan feeders in 2026 and Snuff said "bet."

The front page shows a live feed of fights as well as recent ones with some easy filters. Good for checking out a brawl you know is popping off or if you're bored and wonder what's been happening. You can also search older battles with filters instead of digging through zKill which I found interesting to browse through. Creating battle reports works the same way as always: paste a zKill link, or a link from any of the other BR tools, or set it up manually (or go through the zKill related kills link, thank you Squizz). One of the recent-ish changes is support for multiple systems and time ranges.

The battle report itself has the usual features. By default it shows you the Composition tab which is similar to the classic br.evetools.org layout, but especially on live battles the Overview tab and kill feed give you a good sense of the fleets as you watch kills stream in. The main innovation was the timeline which shows fleet sizes and ISK lost over time and that you can scrub back and forth to see what the fleets looked like at a certain moment. Recently added timeline filters allow you to select specific ships or alliances on the graphs, so something like "how did the dread counts evolve over time" is easy to check.

The ISK value calculation is separate from zKill pricing, which I've put a lot of work into and it feels much more accurate especially on old battle reports. If you want to feel nostalgic go check one of them out. You can drag and drop participant rows to set up battle sides, the mobile experience has been polished and the site has overall been very reliable.

I've tried to keep it focused, it's meant to be a battle report site that's quick to read, not a Battle Dashboard Command Center with 100 different features. In the early days I was too stubborn on the Overview tab being superior and wanting to stand out, but I've come around on that. The Composition view is the default, the timeline stays collapsed until you open it. If you've tried the site before and hated the default view, give it another try.

In the spirit of keeping it clean, the Discord server is only linked on the front page. If you have any feedback or suggestions, come check it out.

AI disclosure: AI helped in the design of the front page of the app. The battle report was designed by me with help from an actual designer (thank you urns who also made the embed image), all of the code and this post were 100% written by a human.

I'm pretty new to EVE, joined a nice mining corp and I've been making some decent ISK so far.

Lately I've been kinda obsessed with the idea of getting an Astero and going into low/nullsec to look for relic and data sites.

Idk why but the thought of sneaking around dangerous space, trying to hack some containers while knowing someone could show up and kill me at any second sounds so fun to me. Even thinking about it gives me an adrenaline rush.

Problem is, I barely know anything about exploration.

How do you guys actually survive out there? Like how do you avoid gatecamps, hunters or getting caught while hacking? And most importantly, how the hell do you make it back home alive with all that loot?

Also feel free to share your expensive mistakes so I can hopefully avoid making the same ones

Free to play typhoon fit for you ,I've rattled in most systems on free to play,with standard typhoon fit.16-18 mil tick.

For standard combat sites this fit can do a sanctum.

6 alablast cruise, 1 done range.

1 cap battery,1 cap recharge,2 shield amps,1 large shield booster cl5.

3 drone damage,4 ballistic

1 drone range rig,2 cap recharge rig

The ship is cap stable just turn on booster,warp to 70km drones go 75km

And sit there,if you start to take to much damage kite backwards

So what I'm really looking for a seeing what you guys fly is a van life ship that you could even potentially just stay out in j-space exploring and suggesting while hardly even having to dock back up occasionally probably just to sell off your data/relic site loot that you've hacked for. I'll also tell you what my main character can fly. I can fly the Astero, Stratios, Buzzard, Anathema, and Cheetah and interested in trying out the Helios as well. But what I would really like to do is be able to see when others are on d-scan while I'm cloaked is find out where they are and if they're most likely in a exploration frigate on their own that I can easily take on then I would love to be able to engage and take them on. My dream ship is a t3 cruiser Loki that I hope to eventually train my skills into and be able to fly and undock. So, overall what do you guys like using for a nomad explorer that could potentially engage and take on others?

Crimson Harvest event has been extended/more rewards added

I am mostly solo player, currently mostly on high sec doing soe l4 missions, and my focus will be pve for the upcoming months but not pvp

I am currently flying on a rattlesnake, with heavy missile , heavy drone and shield skills trained (but not cruise missile yet)

While on rattlesnake I start to feel bad for the delayed damage of missile and drones, not to mention I always overshoot missiles, driving the drones near and far, sometimes even get the drones killed

That’s why I want to try out something else, but I think i will still get it into a golem as the second marauder, just for its versatility and not to waste the skills I already owned

Given above, may I ask you experts opinion on whether I should get a paladin first or vargur? Assume what is invested into skill points is not considered here

I'm not a hardcore player, played in and out since 2016, my longest streak was 13 months in 2020 (22m sp). I rarely post here, and i just would like to talk to someone right now.

i keep seeing posts about eve updates, events, and i sincerely would like to be excited about them, but i do not feel the urge to join. and i finally understood why.

call it crimson harvest, call it haloween bloodbath, call it unicorn paradise, it is essentially your overview and loot every time. faction warfare? overview and loot. Abyssals? overview and loot. Pochven? Overviews and loot.

i mean, these events make no sense at all, waste of dev time in my opinion. It is fly-scan-hack-shoot, how is it different from lvl1 mission? Even ship designs do not matter because 90% of active gameplay you are zoomed away and only see icons. Skin system? Another skin system? undock and forget, they're not even on zkillboard to show.

if i was in the game i'd try to make it eventful for me - neat helping corp, or finding interesting things to do.

but selling same stuff with another label?

i don't even bother to read all that made-up garbage about empires and whatnot. not interesting, makes no sense in game.
