The new song is out!!! It sounds so good 🔥😩

Apparently the song is called "Can't Stop The Beat" and will be released this Wednesday! 🔥

Basically what the title says, but I think that can include songs that aren't talked about much AND songs that are often disliked, but you like them anyway.

I'll go first:

- Lend Me Some Light

- Wild World

- Romance To Me

- Rhapsodize

(Couldn't pick just one, my bad)

Edit: I love that so many of these replies are from the Two Vines album 🥹

Made this after seeing the pic of them back together! Just a little celebration of what they have made in the past and will continue to make in the future 🙏🏻

First one is a recording a landmark, world-exclusive album premiere at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on May 31, 2013, as part of the venue’s Vivid LIVE festival.

I HIGHLY recommend watching BOTH sets! 🙏🏻👌🏻🙇‍♀️ Theyre both professional recordings so the sound & video are excellent quality! Ive watched both an UNGODLY amount of times cos theyre both SO good! 💯💯💯💯

My top 3 faves from Sydney Opera House:

1. Old Favours 2. Concert Pitch, 3. Ice on the Dune Runners up: Breakdown, Standing On The Shore, DNA, We Are The People & Alive

My top 3 faves from Outside Lands:

1. Desire 2. Half Mast/Old Favours 3.Changes, Runners up: Cherry Blossom, Tiger By My Side, We Are The People & Alive.

Basically..both sets are AMAZING 💯 And I just wanted to share these for those whom havent seen them! As they definitely are, hands down, my most favorite videos of them live! 😍 I included both links* and they're both posted at the bottom! ⬇️⬇️

*Note: Links do skip past the intros on BOTH videos..Sydney is just random, boring (pointless IMO) shots of opera house & the audience.

Outside Lands is just the 2 hosts blabbing about dumb, random shit for a few minutes (i think its the one where theyre simultaneously getting roasted by people in the chat. 😝). Anywho..

ENJOY EMPYREANS! 🙌🏻 😘

Still blown away by Empire of the Sun’s show in San Diego! ✨ Absolutely incredible performance, stunning visuals, and such an amazing atmosphere. Got to experience it all with family and friends, which made it even more special.
Huge thanks to Luke Steele for taking the time to meet and chat with me at the meet and greet. 🙏 Such a memorable experience!
And does anyone know what that new song they opened with was? It was absolutely amazing! 🔥 I can’t stop thinking about it!

Went Friday night and third time seeing Empire. I liked how they reworked some of the songs although in my opinion, I thought Cherry Blossom would’ve been better as they performed it on the last tour.
Had great seats on the second row of section 102. There were only a couple of people surrounding us that seem to be really into the show and dancing. Last year in Houston we did general admission and the overall energy was so amped up and to me that show was a 10/10. This show overall I would rate at a 7/10 on all fronts. I tried getting excited about it a few times and it just didn’t happen. Luke may have been tired from several consecutive nights. I kind of liked that some songs were cut a little short however I expected that would allow more songs to be performed especially since they have so much good material like DNA just to name one. I saw another post saying the show/Luke came across “churchy” and this was definitely the case and to me put a damper on the show. A concert is not where I want to hear someone saying “don’t listen to the news, listen to God”. And there was another interplay with the crowd were he kind of came across as a televangelist . Anyway besides that the show just didn’t seem to have pop to it like the other two shows we have seen.

Empire of the Sun is a huge band I'm currently listening to I really like their electronic Duo sound they remind me a lot of you of Erasure and the pet shop boys before them I really love their music.Songs like ' we are the people" *cherry blossom" "half mast" "feeling you get" I plan to buy a new synthesizer within the next couple of weeks this next couple of months and start producing new music. And this current band " Empire of the sun" has really influenced me.

I’m excited for this limited drop! The tour was awesome! 😎

Going with daughter and she has a purse

What time has opening act come on and left and then how much intermission time before EOS?

I don’t typically look at set list before shows, but as there’s been pretty static on this leg of the tour? Saw them in Houston last year and it was fantastic, especially being in GA with a really lively crowd.

Anyone else grab a poster or HB specific merch? Pretty, pretty good!

I still can’t stop smiling (and tearing up a little).

A year ago, I managed to snag the very last VIP meet & greet seat Ticketmaster released. I kept it quiet and surprised my partner with it for his birthday. We went last night and I’ve never seen him with such pure, unfiltered happiness.

He’s been grieving the sudden loss of a family member a couple week ago, so seeing him light up the way he did means everything. Decades of your music have brought him so much joy, and last night your graciousness and that incredible show gave him a moment of real happiness when he needed it most.

From the bottom of both our hearts, thank you, [r/Empire](r/Empire)[ofthesun.](r/Empire)

I'm beyond excited for tonight! I saw them last year at ACL and it was so fun.

I just got back from the hollywood bowl show!! It was sooo fun. But..I can't be the only one noticing the amount of posers and people with lack of etiquette right.. There was a couple behind me that actually talked the WHOLE show.- and talking as in yelling over the music. Literally no one around me was singing along either. Maybe its because I was in section g1 or something!?!? Seeing so many people leave the show early after the "popular" songs got played pained me bad. Soo disrespectful

Genuine question, what do you even wear to their concerts?? Mine is on Friday and I fr have no idea what to show up in, I’m debating on the white face paint bc my hg said she would do it too but other than that I don’t know what to wear. Any help would be amazing 😔😔

Say I got VIP but my friends didn't - Am I able to go back out with them in GA line or will the ticket had already been scanned?

Also bonus question: if I skip the VIP experience entirely, can my vip ticket be used in the GA line as a regular ticket if I were to go directly to it?

Is anyone else enjoying missing half the show? Cause I am.

Does anyone want to go tonight I have a extra ticket

heading to LA show but running late, road closure.
