I know he’s questionable for the next game. And in redraft obviously everyone is very excited for Ajay. But in Dynasty, how does this season/stretch coming up without Jdub change the outlook for Ajay? Top 100 dynasty asset? Higher?

I’m in a 12 man points league. Startup was this year and I am seriously considering trading him as I am contending but my center room is not great, considering it is Jarrett Allen, Donovan Clingan, and Mitchell Robinson. The player who holds embiid in my league is looking to trade into a rebuild. Should I use a first to upgrade to embiid, or should I hold both my centers and pray for the best?

I’m in a 10 team points league and I have Ty and Ayo . Was offered this trade this morning. Do I pull the trigger?

I have a stacked team ATM, and have a good chance of winning the ship. I have 2 other stars in maxey and Johnson, but I also have guys like Kawhi and Embid who are getting older.

The board now moves with the season. Two things changed.

1. The Live price

Every player already had two prices that never change: the IPO price (where the pre-draft boards had him) and the MARK (where he finished after his first season). The new Live price is a third one. It asks what each player would be priced at today if his class were re-ranked on this season’s games so far.

The formula is the same one that sets the MARK, run on current stats:

• Per game: PTS + 0.7×REB + 1.5×AST + 1.8×STL + 1.8×BLK − TO
• Multiplied by (games played ÷ his team’s games)^0.25, so a player who’s missed time gets a gentle haircut and not a punishing one
• Multiplied again by games played ÷ 10 if he has fewer than 10 games, so a hot two-game start can’t vault anyone to #1

Players are then ranked inside their own draft class on that class’s price ladder, where #1 = $1,000. Live never changes the IPO or MARK, so you can always see where a player started, where he finished and where he is right now. Anyone under 15 games gets a SMALL SAMPLE tag, and a player with no games yet shows a dash. The numbers refresh every morning after the previous night’s games are in.

2. 9C EPS and Per-36 are now in-season NBA numbers

These columns used to be pre-draft college and overseas production. On the quote boards they now come from this season’s NBA stats, the same data the Live price uses. (The pre-draft versions are still on each player’s page, labelled pre-draft.)

9C EPS is a nine-category z-score. For each category, a player’s per-game number is compared with the other players in his class who have played, measured in standard deviations from that group’s average. Then the categories are weighted and added up:

• Full weight (1.0) on points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and threes made
• 0.6 on FG%, 0.25 on FT%
• 0.15 on turnovers, flipped so fewer is better

Per-36 does the same thing on a per-36-minute basis. Each counting stat is scaled to 36 minutes first, so a bench player who produces in limited minutes isn’t buried by his role. The result is then re-centred to the same average and spread as 9C EPS, so the two columns are directly comparable.

Caveats

• We’re only a handful of games in, so everything swings a lot. Treat early numbers as a snapshot, not a verdict.
• Each class is only measured against its own players. A 9C EPS of +5 in the 2026 class and +5 in the 2021 class are not the same thing, and older classes have smaller groups.
• Players who haven’t played yet show dashes, and the incoming 2027 class keeps its pre-draft numbers.

Also cleaned up the quote board: Post-SL, PEM and LTSU are no longer columns (the PEM and LTSU gauges are still on each player page).

I’ve just gotten into my first dynasty football league this year and now want to start a basketball one with the more committed guys from my redraft groups.

In football the standard is 12 teams and fairly deep benches so that waivers aren’t used as a much to encourage trading. I’m wondering if that’s similar for basketball or if waivers should play a more important role?

So my questions are: is a 12 team league the standard? How many starting positions? I’m thinking 12 or 13. And based on that how many bench spots? I’m thinking in the range of 20. And what would be typical for the rookie draft? 3 or 4 rounds?

Based on that if it were 12 teams, start 13, and 20 bench that would be 396 players…roughly 12 per actual nba team. So we would basically rostering the full rotation plus some more developmental or depth pieces.

Hey guys I drafted Jokic and Cade in my league but since drafting Jokic I kinda gotta go win now, and try and win it, later in the draft I made some questionable picks and obviously they don’t ruin my team but it would’ve put me in a position where I’m pure win now and my future is brighter then most of the other teams. Would’ve definitely made this the strongest fantasy team I’ve ever built if I had picked different for example

In round 8.6 I picked Kyrie Irving over Cedric Coward

In round 10.2 I picked Brandon Ingram over Ace Bailey

In round 10.6 I picked Jalen Green over Denjonte Murray

These are some examples let me know how I did and if it’s major, also call me out for being a bad manager.

With Jdub and Wallace likely out for the whole season, is it a smart to trade Ace Bailey for Ajay Mitchell while his value isn't too astronomically high. I want to see if I can do a 1:1 but if I need to I might throw in a low to mid tier streamer. What are we thinking? Redraft league!

Saw this trade in and was wondering if you accept it. Deni is very promising and he is very good as I'm in a H2H League of 5 man. KD is still a walking bucket but this trade seems very even. Should I accept?

My reasoning: Already have embiid and can only start one center a night so jokic was a luxury. Got auto drafted Derrick white by accident in the auction draft and hated the pick.

Finalized the deal yesterday. 16-team points keeper league. And Amen Thompson is one of the better keeper assets in the league.

What do we think, Reddit fam? Did i do a good job?

I know it’s only been a few games I’m just wondering if i should be semi panicking on either guy because I was expecting both to have good seasons this year especially Matas. I’m not really panicking yet on them just want to see other people’s thoughts.

With Lauri and JJR potentially sidelined, is Jackson hayes a must roster guy to pick up off the waivers?

I think Lauris injury may be worse then jjrs and would be out for longer potentially but What do we think?
