Sometime ago I had a good idea for a fake dating drarry fic, I don’t know if it has been done before but there we go. So the idea is that they pretend to be together during the summer as some kind of exchange, Harry wants to make the Dursleys angry or annoyed and Draco wants to do the same with his father because of something bad he did.
And they talk about how they’re gonna act around one another’s environment.
Any thoughts? Do you like it?

LF a fic where Draco is pregnant (cuz by SA sadly) and in trial but he asked for help from Harry to testify for him. And due to Harry's hero complex, ofc he decided to help Draco raise the baby lol. This leads to their relationship progressing but didn't confess bcs they think they're not worthy of the other lol. Also I love how they made Scorpius take Harry's surname. Pls help me find this fic, thank youuu.

I don't know how to explain this, but I'm looking for fics where the entire plot (or at least the beginning) revolves around one tag. For example, Oxytocin is about Draco's insomnia, the whole fic (and it's reeeeeally good); and the scientific method (it's bkdk, not drarry, sorry) revolves around izuku getting hard (lol) around a crying kacchan (just an example I remember). It doesn't even have to have smut; if the dynamic is fluff or angst or anything, I will still enjoy it. 🙂‍↕️

HOLY shit, I’m not gonna lie I’ve never been much of a Harry Potter fan before, I didn’t even know drarry was a thing until a few days ago. This artwork is from twitter by Dalya, their @ is owomante and a few days ago some of their hpdm art appeared on my timeline. They have a bunch more artworks and their art is seriously amazing (can I just say that Draco is drawn exactly as I imagine he’d look like drawn), please check them out on twitter. They singlehandedly dragged me into the Drarry fandom.

They’ve mentioned their art is based off of a fanfiction named “Prop up the saviour” and I decided to check the fic out. It’s absolutely amazing. I have no words to describe it. It started a little slow at first and took me a few days to get into it, but when I got into it boy was I addicted. It honestly reads like a well-written, published book, and everyone’s personality is very true to the original story. I think the fanfic might’ve taken heavy inspiration from svsss/scumbag system by mxtx (if you know what I’m talking about) as the premise is very similar. The original fanfic was written in Chinese but it’s currently being translated on AO3 with permission from the original author I think. That’s presumably why some of Dalya’s artworks say chapter 80 or 100 when only around 50 have been translated.

I’m not sure why but the ao3 version isn’t released in chapters, but stories of a series, it still works the same though as you just have to click “next work” for the next chapter.

Genuinely it’s so good I had to come on Reddit to recommend it and I haven’t used Reddit in months. It’s so good I stayed up until 4am to finish the whole translated (AO3) version and I had an exam at 7 that morning. If you know Chinese, please support the original author on Lofter omd I swear I’m gonna start learning Chinese to read the original and support the author. If you have similar works, please recommend them to me.

as you can tell from the title i am unsure what to call this but i just read far from the tree and it was in short, a religious experience. i particularly loved their relationship dynamic where they know they want each other but theres a lot of bumps, break ups, etc if you know any fics like this pls pls pls let me know!! tysm

I’ve been reading ‘Two to shore’ and literally anything by laughterloveandlarry. So I’m really enjoying Hogwarts setting fics, whether they start from 8th year or a rewrite.
But I don’t mind anything else either, it just needs to be a long fic I can binge :))

I have so many Drarry fic ideas and prompts that I desperately want to read (or write in an ideal world lol), but I can never seem to find exactly what I’m looking for or actually manage to turn the ideas in my head into a full fic.

Is there anywhere in the fandom where people share prompts like these, even if they’re just little plot bunnies or half formed ideas? I know there used to be a Tumblr page for this but from what I can tell it hasn’t been active since 2023.

I’d love to know if there are any active blogs, communities, Discord servers, etc. where people share ideas or if there’s a place for this kind of thing in the Drarry fandom!

Hi, sorry if this is a strange request but I got the sudden urge to read Drarry where Draco is similar to the characterization of him in Dramione fics. For example manacled, breath mints and battle scars, the auction, secrets and masks. I much prefer to read about Harry and Draco falling in love, but I don’t think I’ve come across one with that type of Draco. I think it would be amazing 🖤. Any recs are very appreciated!

Recently I was stumped for ideas for a time-sensitive challenge, so I decided to create a simple spreadsheet to randomly generate a fanfic prompt based off of a list of common tropes in the fandom. I'm sharing it here in the hopes it might help someone else if they ever find themselves bored and wanting to write something but lacking any immediate spark or inspiration.

The tropes themselves are all SFW (though of course you can write any rating you wish), but I'm happy to create a second tab in the spreadsheet if people would like a tool to inspire spicier/kinkier pieces.

I'm also happy to add to the trope list, if you think of something that should be rolled into the randomizer. There are over 100 tropes included at present, but there can always be more. Add a comment here, and I'll add it to the list!

Hi! I want to get into Drarry because I see so much potential in the ship, but I’m scared I’ll end up reading something where they’re immediately into each other and there’s no proper enemies to lovers.

Does anyone have any recs for a Drarry beginner where they genuinely HATE each other at first? Preferably something dark with lots of obsession, possessiveness or jealousy!

it was a fic that i read ages ago, where draco is a very popular author (and he mainly writes romance books), and ron is annoyed by him, because quite literally everyone reads his books (I think even Molly and Hermione were big fans). Harry (i think he was an auror but idk, it wasn't too important to the fic) has read all of dracos books, harry really likes draco. and then turns out draco also liked harry and that the books where about them both. and i dont know how but essentially ron gets them together, and i think draco writes him a book at the end (i dont really remember).

i've been going through my bookmarks and stuff and i js can't find it, it would be so great if anyone could help me find it!

Yesterday I realised that my favourite Drarry stories tend to feature older Harrys who've grown and changed. So naturally, I decided to draw ALL my favourite fanfic Harrys together in one big illustration (clearly I am NOT okay).

And OBVIOUSLY, I had to start with Harry from The Most Splendid Thing by lq_traintracks.

Desi, broad, gorgeous, sexy as hell... but also sweet, awkward, and sooooooooooo lovable and cute.

And OH MY GOD, if you haven't read this fic, I'm SO JEALOUS OF YOU. Imagine two very, like VERY competitive Quidditch stars who absolutely cannot stand each other, accidentally bonded so they literally CAN'T stay apart. The banter is vicious, the sexual tension is OFF THE CHARTS, the sex is gloriously glo-rious-ly filthy, and between all the insults, desperate touching, and competitive stupidity, these two idiots start falling in love in the most tender way. I laughed, I melted, I wanted to shake them both. IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD.

And the image I couldn't get out of my head? Harry in emerald green silk with gold embroidery, his long hair pulled back, looking absolutely radiant. I HAD to draw him.
