Hi everyone! I’m a Marketing student looking for a thesis/practicum group. I don’t have many friends on campus, which is why I’m asking here if anyone knows where I can connect with groups or students who are still looking for members for Term 2 Practicum?
A bit about me:
- Strong Research experience with published paper
- Experience in Graphic Design and Event Planning
- Early/Punctual with group deadlines
If you’re forming a group, know people who need another reliable member, or have space for one more, feel free to comment or DM me. Thank you!

Kinda anxious about graduation prep. I'm from COB and I'm not an awardee, so I wanted to ask are we strictly required to attend the Recognition Rites?
Also, do our parents actually get to go up on stage with us during the event? I saw an old post here saying they do, but I wanted to confirm if that's still the case for COB graduates since we're a lot haha

I didn't push through with my applications cause of personal reasons and bad timing. I'm now regretting it a lot. I have plenty of experience and could dish out a CV if need be. If there isn't an application pipeline outside of ARW, would cold emailing the orgs work? lol #embarrassing

Not lobbying for anything. Just sharing an experience.
For me, easier to search using key words (or even adjacent ones). All announcements being embedded in one email these days would still require more sifting, as they're not as searchable compared to independent announcements appearing when I search for certain topics. Was also nice when I could immediately see in the subject line what something is about. My contextually important emails were not being buried, as I had priority markers for them.

is there a chance we’ll shift to online classes? the announcement is always delayed, and there’s still no update about the incident

The river dantes is filled with yellow froth. That of the image of a fresh foam pour of a warm red horse mucho in a greasy glass.. with Noel’s isaw (popular spot in the university he studied in) with two rice. Just livin la vida loki.
Arman took a piss in the CR of what was Kitchie Nadals bagnet resto along Leon Guinto st. where he loved to play chess. With the ID in the cr left behind because he had to pee the warm mucho and visceral salt deposits of his unseen organs.
the relief was not sweet but more from a dark sensuality, almost cryptic but oh so divine.
He forgot about his ID rushes out of the CR. wants another drag of the crisp menthol Marlborough blacks ..."aircon for the throats" he calls it.
So he can top up the scantifying relief of expelling the uric acid ...with that he takes another sip of the fermented sugar that is red horse. It might be warm, and flakey cuz there might have been some ash... but its all he has right now. and thats all he gets. dosent diminish nothing if its already in.
He drinks a couple more in the dark dredges of Katipunan where it all becomes blur. and it fades automatically to the next day. where the ID?? he dosent know where he put it-put it.
....fast forward 2056.
Arman is 67 and he is going to a machine that repeatedly does a job his body can no longer do. He is accompanied by his 16 year old daughter therese. this was his daughter from his first marriage with Anathelga, a 26 year old lass when he was then 42 when he knocked her up.
He has a permanent opening, a vascular access in his neck. a doorway between blood and machine.
most people spend their whole lives trying to close wounds. He has one permanently open.
he does this procedure twice a week. He can no longer pee. he remembers the warm mucho looking piss in that old cellar of a bathroom in the bagnet resto he used to play chess with his friends.
And there he remembered his ID. there he said. "ah" thats where i put it...(but this didnt really happen. because there was never an ID to begin with) It is what the audience wants for him. they want a happy resolution for this man. But in the ends. Its what he wants for himself. His daughter snaps him out of it. She's like" hey dad the nurse is gonna intubate your boots boots now (what she affectionately calls the hole in his neck... or the butas) "
Then the machine starts to humm.

hiii! incoming practicum student here (medbio) and i’m curious about other bio majors’ practicum experiences.
where did you do your practicum and how was it overall? was the workload chill or super hectic? did it last for the whole 14 weeks?
what were your usual tasks, schedule, and work environment like? did you still have time for hobbies and a life outside it?
i’m currently torn between a really good but potentially demanding HTE and somewhere probably more laid back since i’m also considering med school and kinda wanted to enjoy my remaining free time before that 🥹
would love to hear your experiences and whether you’d recommend your HTE!! thank uuu
I’m planning to rent a unit in this condo, but I can’t seem to find any recent reviews about it. For those who have lived or are currently living there, could you share your experience, including the pros and the biggest cons?
Would really appreciate your insights. Thanks!

I have a flight on December 11, but my chemistry prof just announced that our exams will be on December 12. Who can I consult/ask/beg/grovel to to take the exam early 😭😭? My family had booked a trip months before DLSU announced the shifting of the school calendar.

I'm an Indian student who completed (Class 12) and I'm looking into applying to De La Salle University (DLSU) in Manila as an international student.
I'm trying to figure out a few things before making any big decisions:
Admission eligibility: Does DLSU accept Indian students?
Equivalency requirements: Do I need a certificate of equivalency or any additional documents from the Philippines before I can apply?
Course options: I'm flexible about which course I take, so I'm looking for the most affordable undergraduate program available.
Tuition and other fees: What is the realistic total cost for an international student, including tuition and any additional fees for foreign students?
Living expenses: How much should I realistically budget per month for rent, food, electricity, internet, and other basic expenses around Manila?
Student visa: Is it possible to complete the admission process and obtain the appropriate student visa with my qualifications?
I've already contacted the university's admissions office by email, but I haven't received a proper response yet, so I thought I'd ask people who might have experience with DLSU Manila or studying in the Philippines as an international student.
I'd really appreciate any advice, especially from current students, former students, or other international applicants. Thanks!

I had a lot of crushes during my 3 years as an undergrad in DLSU. However I didn’t take advantage of fully exploring my crushes because I overthought and did wayy too much romantic stuff which only happens in the movies.
I had a childhood friend crush for 12 years. Classmates in elementary, went to diff high schools but reunited in DLSU. I never told her how I felt during those 12 years. Looking back it truly was an unhealthy obsession.
One week before Valentine’s Day I asked random people to give the crush of my life at the time a different gift leading up to Valentine’s Day (chocolate / stuffed animal / whatever) and then I asked this harana service you could hire along SJ walk to play on Valentines Day Truly Madly Deeply at 2:30pm, 3rd floor Miguel, room… I don’t remember. However I happened to be on the 4th floor taking religion class at the time, checking through the window every now and then at her classroom below me. Stupid me but i forgot to give the harana service a code word that only she and I knew associated with her that way they would play in the classroom but no one would know that it was for her other than her (that way she isnt like pressured and stressed out)
Anyway, i forgot to give them that note however I did have a bouquet of flowers with me and i finally met up with her later that day. I gave her the flowers, gave her a handwritten letter I wrote detailing that it was me who had given the gifts over the week and who had harana serviced. At the end of it all she friend zoned me.
4 months later I was interested in a different girl who confided in me that her guy crush she was dating but wasn’t committed to wasn’t treating her right and I began to develop feelings for her. She and I went out and held hands within campus, to my house and a movie in Greenbelt. Looking back it would have been better to have just made a move and kissed her but well of course I thought that I needed to be more chivalrous and write a letter and all that $#¥%. I guess i liked being the romantic but didn’t realize that sometimes girls don’t like complicated $}¥].I got friend zoned there too (but she held my hand openly around campus??? Like what is that??)
Anyway, fast forward to 20 years later. I’ve been through several memorable relationships and all of them never required no more than 10% of the amount of psychological stress and logistical planning that I placed in my college crushes. Don’t over think it guys. Be a gentleman but for goodness sake don’t give your crush or loved one everything. Save some for yourself, you’ll end up being more attractive in the long term.
My fiancé jokes that if she and I met in college, she would 100% not have gone out with me! It’s kinda cool because when she was in college she was the jock girl who all the boys liked, truly someone I thought was unobtainable to me when I was in college.
What happened to the childhood crush? We’re still great friends 20 years later. She’s invited to my wedding and Fiancé knows the whole story. Honestly, I dodged a bullet with that childhood crush coz she and I truly were not compatible. We would have ended up killing each other if we had tried. You don’t notice practical misalignments like that when you’re busy making that person your entire world.
The lesson? It’s always 100% better to get your heart broken by confessing quickly than to obsess over someone for 6 months and then lose your chance or waste too much time over planning confessions which should be natural and quick. College life is meant to be fast, fun, and exciting. In all cases, treat that person well and don’t forget to be kind to yourself as well.
Don’t be torpe!

Hello! I recently deferred my enrollment from Term 1 this year to Term 2. Does anyone have an idea when will I hear back from them? (I just accomplished the form last week).
Also I would like to add if anyone here knows any scholarship opportunities I can still apply for? I couldn't apply for CHED because I was previously pursuing an overseas study, kahit outside the institution would help.
Thank you!
[Posting for a friend, thanks!]

I'm gonna take my third and last accounting subject, which is ACCBUS 3 Accounting for business sustainability . I would like to ask what this subject is about, what work assignments you do, and its level of difficulty.
