Advice needed

I've recently started dying discs with shaving cream method and have had no issues with red and yellow iDye Poly colors. I just bought iDye Poly neon green, neon pink, aqua and turquoise and I've tried with them. Neon pink, aqua and turquoise have barely been visible on my discs. I've tried them on different plastics (Discmania white S-line, Axiom Eclipse, Latitude white Opto) and neon green has been the only one to stick. I've kept them on shaving cream bed 16 to 24 hours.

Is there any way to get those three colors stick better? Should I leave the disc sit for longer time? Or maybe add some more color on them?

Always gotta ask...you sure they're idye poly? I've accidentally purchased the natural fiber version and it doesn't do anything.

Also, while others have mentioned heat being a limiting factor for shaving cream, I put my shaving cream dyes in the dehydrator for 90mins@115° the shaving cream doesn't "melt"

Yes, they are all idye poly. Red, yellow and neon green work just fine. Aqua, turquoise and neon pink haven't worked so far. All from same product line. Unfortunately I don't have anything to apply constant heat for the shaving cream bed. :(

I have some pink idye that I haven't tried yet so maybe I'll use it for something else. I can recommend ProChem & Dye's neon cerise pink, one of my favorite colors (the two in the top left corner are shaving cream)

Thanks! What's the blue color with the pink on the first disc?

I'm not positive, but would guess Caribbean Blue (also PCAD)

I don't have much experience with neon Idye colors. But, with prochem neon colors, they need heat to really take to the dye. With shaving cream, heat will make everything melt and blend together, so you won't get the same details. That said, I have had luck with some cool swirly rainbows with shaving cream.

Yes, I think you just will have some colors with the shaving cream method that just won't stick.

Lack of heat is just a limiting factor with that method.

It may be time for you to "graduate" out from shaving cream method and move onto glue bed, floetrol, or lotion dyes. You can use a heat lamp with those and all the dye colors will really saturate and pop.

Have you tried it with heat? I've had no issues
