My trick or treater diorama with some surprises and easter eggs.

1/10 scale, it's quite large!

Everything on the diorama is scratch made, from the siding to the corn stalks. The figures, pumpkins, leaves and door knob are bought.

I would like to add more corn stalks and paint a backdrop, eventually have it on a table and do the interior of the house.

A few new photos of my winter diorama project, Sylvester.

The scene includes a snow-covered cottage with a thatched roof, a traditional well with a wooden crane, a windmill, handmade fences, and Christmas carolers carrying a festive star.

The landscape is built mainly from XPS foam, with handmade textures, miniature vegetation, snow effects, and individually painted details.

I've also added warm LED lighting inside the cottage.

Still working on the smaller details and final finishing touches.

Everything is part of my ongoing project at Three Black Cats Studio.

No instructions, parts seem to be missing, extremely bad fit and only super glue seemed to work. Still, for €3.50 i think it looks okay

A small z scale diorama I've been working on for a bit. The trees are still giving me a bit of a hard time, does anyone have any recommendations for foliage? I've used green dyed poly fiber thus far and it looks good for a base but I can't seem to find anything that is working for leaves.

Scratch built this diorama for the Babayaga. Also built the crate and all weapons.

Hey everyone! Finally finished this project, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It took a long time—mostly spent experimenting with curing leaves using glycerin—but every minute was worth it.

I definitely learned a few valuable lessons along the way. Chief among them: make sure there are zero gaps before you pour any kind of water effect, because resin/water effect liquid will find them and leak all over your desk xD. Lesson learned!

Some of my favorite parts of the build:

• The pillow: Sewing an actual tiny pillow out of an old sock and stuffing it has got to be the highlight of the whole project.
• The details: Really loved putting together the little campfire, the tiny bow, and the fishing pole.

I'm working on sets for a stop motion animation and need to craft a 1:12 scale water tower.

I'm looking for material recommendations for the base of the build.

I need recommendations for a cylindrical object that measures about 23cm in height and between 15 and 20cm in diameter.

Do you have any recommendations for what I can use?

I was thinking maybe a can or bucket.

I’m looking for ways to bring my dioramas to life.

Options I’ve looked at include:
- creating movement with magnets
- pre-built powered components like model railways, funiculars, etc.
- putting a phone or tablet behind something to create a scene outside a window, like a rainy night

I’d love to hear ideas and see examples of dioramas that incorporate movement. What are your favourites?

So this is that iconic scene from “La Femme Nikita” (1990), Luc Besson’s film where Nikita, trained as an assassin, is on the run right after her first hit. It’s a super famous shot, they even used it for the movie poster, and the film got remade and turned into TV series a bunch of times over the years. Still holds up. It got a ton of praise back then for its originality, Besson’s style, and the lead’s performance, which is honestly incredible.

I’ve always wanted to recreate this scene, and I finally modeled and built the whole thing, the character, the set, and the backdrop. Pretty happy with how it came out.
